The action combat ones would be good for local multiplayer, one of the SFC ones returns to that formula and expands upon it.

They're all different, I was a bit hesitant because it changed so much from the third game, but now I think I like it a bit more. The third is fun but it can be very repetitive and drawn out, here the battles are a lot snappier (infantry units don't go to a full battle, they just do an exchange of fire, your ace units are what trigger battle sequences). Still need to try out the Scenario mode with unit production but I want to finish the Campaign first.
