I'd rather have 3 good episodes stapled together than a 50 episode slog that explores the deep political philosophy of a transformers knockoff show.

Short /m/ is good /m/, and was one of the reasons gqux, was twice as good as gwitch. It was twice as short.

>no you have to understand x character or x world

Most of these characters are one note af. Maybe a few main characters have depth, but most characters have only one or two motivations that are like "the gundam killed my grandma" or some shit. We get it war is bad, but endless waltz delivered that message in 3 episodes.

So yeah most ova's and compilations are peak mecha imo. If theres any genre that can benefit from seasonal anime its mecha, and we need more stuff like gqux, thats 8 episodes of low stakes, and 4 episodes of high stakes (literally 08th ms team plot, but thats because the writer died halfway through.)

Give me the ibo compilation movie

I just want new media to not suck nowadays. Doesn't matter if it's a new entry to an old franchise or new IP, it feels fucking desolate.

You're right. I only watch shows if they have model kits

If bandai does not partner with an /m/ anime it should be treated as though it doesnt exist.
