I started watching Sentai again from denjiman onwards and it started a bit of a trend here I guess. Good thing though because I like talking about the old series. When you watch them in order you. Can spot all kinds of novel details like prop reuse, various filming locations, actors from previous Sentai playing different roles etc. It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend it if you haven't already watched the other shows shows.
Liveman in particular is quite good even if it's a bit messy at times. most nuanced villains in the whole showa era. Excellent standalone episodes. The three main rangers are great. It's well worth the watch. One of the best finales too.

Liveman and Donbros got me back into Super Sentai in 2023 and I love them both because of that. I haven't been able to get into shows sentai since though and dropped Dynaman halfway through and some other unrelated series. It's more of a me thing though.

My favourite thing about Liveman was when I stumbled onto how Peru loves it so much they still get Blue Dolphin to do cons and concerts over there. And I love her insert song so much.

While I feel like the DX item will just combine with the DX TegaSword Akatsuki (since the former primarily covers the front), it could act like an exo-suit in robot mode and an expander in changer mode. YOSHA LUCKY by himself overwhelmed any good moment the show had. Regardless of what happened, YOSHA LUCKY ruined it. There were other things that might have been okay in another show, but in Kyuranger it hurt the ears, eyes, or both, and if it didn't, it would be accompanied by a second YOSHA LUCKY.
The lack of focus due to the large cast also meant the "anchor" was either Hammie, or Lucky. And because of the relationship between the characters, all Hammie roads lead to Lucky. But it's not like the rest of them were good characters either.
There were definitely other things that chipped away at my patience every week, like two other members I remember finding insanely annoying (Orange and the kid I think?), but they weren't bad enough for me to remember now exactly why I felt that way.
Just little by little it turned from "I hope this gets better" to "I really don't want to watch this week", so I dropped around the mid to late 20s mark. Only other Sentai I've dropped were Sun Vulcan and Goggle V.
