Doesn't have enough good fight scenes. That early one against the other mech is them standing in a field bouncing off each others armor and then they both just go home.

It's funny how mecha stuff actually detracts from Flag. Both HAVWC and Longku are horrendously ugly, the CGI is ass, their fights are dull, there's nothing interesting going on with their application that couldn't be done by conventional military. It's a testament to the quality of the show that mecha doesn't manage to drag it down.
