Anyone play Chaos Galaxy?
Seems like SRW/Gihren's Greed, but I can't find any real gameplay videos other than the first hour or so anywhere.
I'm interested, but not enough for full price or the only like 20% it goes on sale.
But if's /m/en approved, may give it a whirl.

Can't speak for 1, but I have played Chaos Galaxy 2. Since I don't play 4x games I have yet to effectively expand and conquer, but I can tell it's still a good game. I'd say get the 2nd game on sale since I assume it has more to offer than the first.
I am also looking forward to their latest game Chaos Front, who's demo felt more like my speed as it plays like MechWarrior 5's open universe Merc Campaign.

I prefer this over 2 since it has more different factions, battle animations and better events, but it didn't have alien invader and faction event depends on RNG.
As for 2, it has custom characters and custom faction creation, more unit types, planetary buildings, faction event now can be manage and research use tech points, instead of golds, but the factions are mainly imperial now, events is less interesting and no battle animation. Depending on you, alien invaders can be a pro or a con.
The first is lot more harder than the second.
