Kamille was beyond rational thought at that point. He was that sick of Scirocco's shit, and the war in general. The best logical reason you can give for his thought process we wanted to confirm the kill. The O is pretty much a fucking fucking fortress in terms of armor, and even with new type magic, a beam shot or beam saber might not cut it because new type magic boost is technically an unreliable phenomenom that Kamille has no control over in terms how strong the boost will be.

I doubt it. The psychics people in UC call "newtypes" just because they have psychic powers aren't real newtypes, they're just a newly discovered phenomena that appear similar to the newtypes Deikun preached about and thus got assigned the label even though in practice they fall far short of the ideal since they're still selfish and petty humans instead of anything truly transcendent. True newtypes would actually have to exist first before true contolism is possible but nothing of that sort has ever appeared even as far into the future as Turn A or G Reco.

No, Char was trying to set the groundwork for Contolism to be accepted, Haman fucked it all up before it could even truly start again, leading to Char committing CCA because reasoned unless the earth was taken out of the picture, contolism would never take off and Zeon would never fulfill what it was created to do.

Knowing Artesia's usual fate, I bet she's more or less a figurehead for a deeply divided and dysfunctional government. No actual decision making power of her own, but her presence is also keeping the Zeon nation from collapsing into civil war. She's too well liked by the people to whack, but doesn't have the kind of strength needed to actually consolidate power for her own ends. So she just waves and frowns until she dies in a car bombing orchestrated by Bask or something.

It doesn't help that picrel happens every time a newtype dies, otherwise Amuro and Char would've gotten over Lalah and implemented true Contolism as Zeon Deikun intended. Kamille is the ultimate embodiment of his vision, he uses newtype deaths to empower himself with the help of his computer. It also gave himself brain damage but it's an excellent start
