EW Altron is awesome. TV altron had a problem of being a little too action figure-y. It looked like a toy first and a mobile suit second, EW definitely comes in and fixes that. They remove the goofy scorpion gun, they remove the folding shoulderpad/claw gimmick and instead altron gets those awesome dragon arms which almost look like a combination of a shield and a tonfa.

Overall the mobile suit feels sleeker and fits the darker mood of the series better IMO

meh. we already have two melee Gundams, one is stealth and the other is a commander type, the party needed a tank
