2. Zeon fanboys have existed for as long as the franchise has, if anything I'm surprised it took forty-five years for a pro-Zeon show to come out.
3. It's a western work, and the whole point of this project was to give westerners a shot and let them make a Gundam show from a different perspective. Remember that the last time they allowed westerners to touch their franchise, we got G-Saviour.
4. It wasn't even that pro-Zeon, and you must have brain problems if you think it is. Even in the original, Tomino never portrayed Zeon as completely ruthlessly evil. The top level leadership were worse obviously, and by default they were the antagonists due to being the opponents of the titular Gundam. But 0079 only ever showed the colony drop in passing, and colony gassing was never even a thing, plus a nuke was only ever actually used once. But by and far the rank-and-file Zeon soldiers weren't much different from the White Base crew. Zeon atrocities were for the most part expanded on in later works and not all that present in 0079.
5. Unicorn was a lot more pro-Zeon than this.
