Moreover even playing good isn't satisfying. It's like you're shooting, beating, cutting through tonnes of wet paper no matter what you do. You don't feel much of mechanical utility to the robots either even despite some visuals and transfigurations, it really does feel like a hero shooter with robot skins. This ends up in that Zelda ToTK is a better mecha game, unironically
Instead of copying the Japanese mecha franchise design archetypes, the devs should have copied how good mecha games handle and feel
