Maybe a recap is due for those who don't feel like going back. Probe lands in Equestria. It doesn't recognize that ponies are alive because their biochemistry is too alien. The ponies don't recognize that it isn't alive because it's responding to stimuli and acting independently. They decide it's trying to run for mayor because they're silly. The current mayor, Mayor Mare, has never had any meaningful opposition so she hasn't done anything useful for campaigning in... ever. The probes are detecting a ton of radio transmissions, and finding massive machines in the ocean. One of the probes is malfunctioning in a major way. Twilight ran a by-the-book campaign and now feels guilty about it, so she went to apologize to the Mayor's campaign organizer, Applejack.

VAGABOND 5: UPLINK ESTABLISHED
One of the more persistent Vagabond 5 probes has managed to broadcast images of other Vagabond probes. It would appear as though the mimicked signals appear to not be mimics at all, but duplicates. To date, every duplicate probe has reported a different time, and all of them have been incorrect. Probes reporting later dates having more data on their drives. No further discrepancies have been detected.
The marginal decay in the radiovoltaic batteries is perfectly consistent with the temporal discrepancies between the probes. There is yet insufficient data to explain how this is all possible, but it is clear at this point that the mission has encountered a phenomenon that is currently beyond mankind’s understanding.
VAGABOND 6: UPLINK ESTABLISHED

A faint electromagnetic current has been detected in anomalous object LF1867. A series of simple P-N junction diodes appear to be embedded just beneath a thin film, creating a low efficiency solar cell. There exist a great deal of similar cells in various states of disrepair, suggesting they were designed to be replaceable. The heavy use of nitrides, especially carbon nitride, is an unexpected engineering decision. It is possible that there is some yet unknown consideration that discouraged the use of other materials, perhaps simply availability.
Connected structures seem to be consuming atmospheric gasses, and are sequestering most of them underground through a series of interconnected pipes. While it isn't possible to determine the exact mechanisms at play in these systems, there are a great deal of balls attached to them that seem to be growing gradually. These red balls- composed mostly of paraffins with an exterior layer of oxidized polyethylene wax- indicate that carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen are being extracted from nearby sources.

How this system was built and how it is maintained are yet unknown, but the purpose is clear. This is a chemical plant, synthesizing hydrocarbons as either material or fuel. Ground water, atmospheric gasses, and solar energy are combined using crude but effective mechanisms.
The local findings are consistent with diagrams found in the objects believed to be books, further reinforcing that intelligent and living things are present. With enough data it might even be possible to decipher their written language, though that will likely take many years of study and observation.
Intelligent life requires a fair amount of energy, and the scale of these chemical refineries implies a sophisticated and heavily industrialized society. While there is still insufficient data to identify the creators of these systems, the fact that they still function despite the heavy maintenance required by the photovoltaic cells proves that there is something in this area providing maintenance.
The overwhelming preponderance of evidence suggests that not only is life present, but that it is near. Since life tends to spread, it is a near certainty that Vagabond probes have encountered it, unless of course that is the faulty component of current definitions.
It is unlikely Bucephalus will be able to positively identify any living things regardless of how much data is collected. Regardless, the mission must proceed assuming that Vagabond probes are at all times near living organisms. Further, the clear signs of intelligence demand that Vagabond assume it is being observed and studied. Without more information, it is impossible to communicate with them. However, it is critical that all signs of aggression be avoided.
The autochthons- assuming they originate from this world- are either remarkably trusting or remarkably powerful. Bucephalus was designed to be easy to stop, and to date there is no evidence of any hostile actions taken against the craft nor the probes. Either the autochthons are willing to trust humanity, in which case it is imperative that this trust is not lost, or they are capable of eliminating humanity, in which case it is imperative that they not feel slighted.
Since it is a potentially harmful alpha emitter, the chemcam is being disabled indefinitely.

VAGABOND 7: OFFLINE

The probe has been destroyed.
Further exploration revealed a small aperture in the ice, which opened into a vast borehole which descended to nearly ten kilometers below sea level.
Hydrothermal vents at the bottom of this borehole spew a steady stream of supercritical carbon dioxide and various sulphides despite being nowhere near a fault line.
Toxic smoke is continuously issuing from the vents, making the actual ocean floor impossible to see in the visible spectrum. Further, the ambient heat is making infrared imaging unreliable- Vagabond 7 was unable to take an image of the bottom of the borehole, and any machinery- if any was indeed present- is completely unknown.

This borehole is clearly of artificial make. The top appears as a crude funnel-shape, possibly as a result of millennia of natural wear, and tapers down into a near perfect cylinder with a roughly 8.34 meter diameter with tens of thousands of operational amplifiers embedded in an enormous and convoluted network.
It is not clear what dug this borehole, but it is likely that it is still digging as the vents have not gone extinct despite issuing a great deal of sediment.
A thick, metallic rod extends from the depths of the borehole, potentially all the way to the bottom. With a diameter of about 1.27 meters and frequent support struts, it manages to stand despite the enormity of its own weight in the scorching temperatures. This rod extends all the way to the ice floe, and is likely connected to the other structures previously identified.
The tentatively titled TerraCom is a massive analogue computer which uses the planet’s core as a power supply. Though the means through which the electrical current is actually generated remains unknown, the rod clearly bridges the gap between hot and cold to provide a thermodynamic differential. The release of oxygen gas serves as a coolant to improve power generation, and likely also to maintain computational efficiency of more delicate circuitry. The source of the oxygen remains unknown, however, it might be related to the missing oxygen gas related to the chemical plants located by Vagabond 6. Despite its size and unknown function, TerraCom is unsuitable for large scale or rapid calculations. Even if the systems were to maintain similar density throughout the entirety of the planet, it would still fail to match the computational capacity of most personal computers. Further, system latency is already known to be on the order of seconds, possibly reaching hours or even days depending on the size of the system. It is yet unknown what function TerraCom serves, however, I/O appears to be handled entirely via radio communication. The remaining probes have continued to listen on the relevant bands, and a great deal of activity has been recorded, but the purpose remains as enigmatic as ever.

Vagabond 7 was unable to transmit all of its data before going offline. It is not known what caused the destruction of the vehicle, but it might be some kind of tamper protection or failsafe being engaged. It is also possible that this was a natural consequence of being in such a hostile environment.
No data is available to explain what destroyed Vagabond 7, and even if another probe were to be deployed the lost vehicle would have doubtlessly sunk to the bottom of the borehole and remain inaccessible. Since attempts at retrieval are futile and would incur risk of further asset losses, what destroyed it will likely remain forever unknown.

best that can be done without having a custom userscript or extension is to add "https://twibooru.org/search/reverse" with no "#" in front of it to the "# Reverse image search:" in the settings and "sauce" menu in 4chanx.

it entirely depends on the size of the portal and how things are transported to equestria, for this i'm assuming something with a similar size and function as a stargate (~22ft/6.7m diameter, near instantaneous travel, doesn't fry electronics)

the full entirety of any ground mechanized army can fit through such an opening with room to spare, excluding some really big trucks, single file ofc, so the limits are how fast each vehicle can be safely driven through, how quickly the vehicles can be delivered to the gate location and how safe the equestria side is and the terrain
a 'proper' airfield would not be required for the initial invasion, a usable one can be constructed within 24 hours of landing and a more permanent one constructed later, the limiting factor would be, again, the size of the gate, as you expect helicopters would be the first aerial combat vehicles to go through to establish an air presence and to assist ground forces, later large drones and other aerial vehicles would be sent through in a partially disassembled state, wings removed/folded, to be reassembled on the other side, though AWACS, c-130s and the like's fuselage is too big to fit through a gate of this size without being cut up and rewelded on the equestria side, something that is very unlikely to happen without significant gains by the humans and construction of buildings capable of it
as for the weapons, it would be largely the same though without gps guided weapons, such as the m982 excalibur or weapons that rely on satellite telemetry and the air-to-air seeking missiles would likely be exchanged for laser, radar and/or optical guided ones as a pegasus is biological and doesn't give off enough heat or other emissions for standard air-to-air seeking missiles to work without a lot of tweaking
and if the humans are really mean, they can disregard the prohibition on blinding laser weapons and deploy such weapons to permanently or temporarily blind any unprotected eyes in the combat area

is not autonomous, flying it would be harder without gps but it could be done, and gps is easily jammed as it is civilian not military so it doesn't have the standard anti-jamming systems that a military designed one would, meaning that autonomous uavs would have some other way to conduct their operations without relying solely on gps
