Update on the Gatlinburg meetup. After gathering some information from the survey. The trip is going to be a 3 day trip (Friday - Sunday, maybe check out Monday morning, maybe) and will take place sometime in the Fall or Winter. Still trying to narrow down what months work best for everyone, but it seems that Late October/Early November may be the best time. I'm just worried about people having to drive in snowy mountains, but if that's not an issue let me know. Budget for the price of the cabin is going to be between $200-250 per person. I'll put out an official RSVP sign up sheet once I can get some concrete dates. Once I get a rough estimate of the amount of people coming, I'll be able to book a cabin and then anything else we want to plan we can discuss from there.

We spent most time drinking pints in pub thinking that other Anons are just fashionably late, eat some Weatherspoon burgers and than fucked off to look at all the fancy shops around the London street. There's no local pony convention as of now, and yes there's regional Southeast Asia pony cons, but that would require travelling out of country with a decent budget so it's not viable for me. I do occasional personal meetups with foreign anons if they ever stop by and id be the guide or something.

From my observation, bronies here typically split into 2 different categories here, one that's more attached under weeb/eastern culture (usually EQG fans as well) that's typically very normie brony and the ones that stick with western culture like furry that i think is a bit more unhinged and more align with my attitude.

I did however visited a horse park in Putrajaya last month with a college classmate for lunch. I'm considering that place (Taman Ekuestrian Putrajaya) as a future meetup place for horsefuckers. The Raleigh Meetup was a lot of fun, I don't get out to meet people locally to do stuff like bars because I don't know anyone near me that would be down for that. The overview of the Meetup is that we met up at a local pool bar, went out to eat, came back and played pool and darts for a couple hours, after that three people left, we went to Insomnia Cookies and then planned to go to a comedy bar but once we got there we found out it was closed. After that we went to a bar / board game place and played for a bit over an hour and then we went home. Thanks for anyone who came hope to plan more like this in the future.

Yes it was Side Quest. Very nice hole in the wall, with great drinks and games to play. Also very convenient being in the city of Raleigh. There's an even better place in Cary/edge of Apex, called Gamer's Greekery & Tavern. They have a HUGE selection of games, local draft beers, and even made to order food.
