And let's be honest, Legend of Everfree is my favorite, but it's nowhere near as beloved and popular as Friendship Games. If there's bound to be a BIG Equestria Girls homage event, it has to be this one

But aside from making another gallery and potentially adding prizes, we've run out of ideas on what exactly should we make. #MyPastIsNotToday2025 was pretty simple: Make any Sunset drawing, put it on Sunset's wings. We need something simple that looks cool and can incorporate everyone's drawings. Anyone got any good ideas we could use?

Maaaybe, video games do exist in Equestria to some extent given Button Mash's short arcade cabinet but it's hard to say how advance they are and if they'd hold Shimmy's interest at all. So many artists made new friends, started new post-collab projects and got a bunch of new commissions thanks to the last collab. Even if the artists involved in the previous one are too tired to participate, they might have other artist friends that might benefit from this too.

This is also the last potential Sunset Shimmer-related event that could get the spotlight back on our girl.

I always wanted them to make an EQG movie in which pony SS finally meets human SS. They come into contact and this creates a destabilization of the entire world. Yadda yadda yadda. Plot stuff. To prevent the destruction of reality one of the Sunset Shimmers has to return to Equestria. Human SS is a bitch to pony SS. Pony SS friends suggest sending Human SS into Equestria since nobody likes her. But Pony SS is mature and understands that she's the one that has to go because it's not her world. Big old heartfelt scenes of no one wanting to see her go and tearful goodbyes. Human SS sees how sad Pony SS is to go and it softens her heart just a tiny bit. Human SS talks to Pony SS and opens up about how she doesn't have any friends in this world and how miserable she always is. Human SS asks Pony SS what Equestria is like. Pony SS tells her. Sounds nice.
Big reveal. Pony SS doesn't have to go back to Equestria. Just need an SS to go back. Human SS volunteers to go in the end, giving us Pony SS in EQG with her friends and introducing a human-turned pony version of SS in MLP. There could have been a lot of good episodes gotten out of that character. Like how she's always wanting to wear clothes. Not just a few either, but full on covering outfits to the point where even Rarity gets exhausted with her. She can have an episode where she just really craves meat and keeps trying to bite Applejack's pigs and cows and the other have to help her get over not eating meat as a pony. Hyper competitive with Rainbow Dash for an episode, but SS cheats and doesn't seem to care. SS has a phobia of an animal that Fluttershy helps her get over. Pranks gone too far with Pinkie. She hangs out with Trixie and Starlight Glimmer for an episode, causing them to revert in their badgirl ways for a bit. And of course, a dream episode with Luna in which we see that SS fears are that she's bad & mean because then she expects to be rejected and that's fine, but she's terrified of how her friendship might still be rejected if she's good & nice.
Man, we could have gotten at least a solid 1/2 season out of her alone and yes, she would be similar but still different from Starlight Glimmer. She'd also be better, cause she's the best.
