The tumblr is an ARG. /mlp/ tried working it out for a while but never got far. Most of the activity was around 2015/2016 and Loona would sometimes send anons cryptic audio and exclusive images via skype. You can read about their efforts here: https://ponepaste.org/2316

The ARG is probably still going on if the image captions are anything to go by (or they might not mean anything by now).

For me, it's mostly the images. They're just nice. Sure it's meant to be slightly unsettling but some of it is Loona simply roaming around the quiet Moon.
