Ridiculous premise. Why would Earth nuke Equestria in the first place? Most actually hostile creatures are so harmless they can be taken out with simple firearms, and the rest is intelligent enough for diplomacy. The very few that are not (say Discord, depending on how antagonistic you want to see him) are pretty much immune to something like a nuke and would merely seal Earth's fate were it to attack at all.

Ponies prance around armed soldiers and stop their bullets mid-air.
Humans are trivially subverted by the Equestrian army, those with hostile intentions are left on the dying planet while those who are at peace with others may come establish a colony.

There is literally nothing Earth could do to destroy Equestria.
