Ridiculous premise. Why would Earth nuke Equestria in the first place? Most actually hostile creatures are so harmless they can be taken out with simple firearms, and the rest is intelligent enough for diplomacy. The very few that are not (say Discord, depending on how antagonistic you want to see him) are pretty much immune to something like a nuke and would merely seal Earth's fate were it to attack at all.

A nuke could destroy Ponyville, but if you kill Fluttershy with it, we won't even be able to call Earth a planet anymore, and no, you're not going to kill the living embodiment of chaos with mundane weaponry. We saw Starlight blast him to dust and he literally didn't give a fuck or even hold a grudge about it.
