For once they gave the people what they wanted, the pie sisters are in, but to not rock the boat and make too many changes, they lost in painful fashion, second 4th place in a row, maybe things will fall into place and the fun will be taken to the final, or maybe they'll return to their roots of being, group stage fodder, whatever is most fun

Not the greatest showing, this team looked solid up until their last game, where /mup/ stunlocked them into a corner and they couldn't do a thing to stop it. Hopefully they use that loss as fuel and they can win another FAG, and then SURELY they'll release chapter 2 of story mode

While I'm here let's discuss the team itself. Coming high after a glorious 3rd star campaign, I didn't know what to expect from the roster polls, I had a hard time picking players for the sack watch because I've grown to like everyone, yet, I want to avoid stagnation and turn this team into another team that hasn't added a new player since Gracen was the commissioner, so I'm a bit disappointed that for the first time in the team history, there will be no new players, and personally I was never fond of Snowpitys, just like Mare Stare she's a lukewarm player that just stood there expecting to have a spot on the team just for the popularity. Numget didn't do that, neither did Linky or Mare Fair, all these players showed passion, love for the game, a desire to be there and represent this board to the best of their ability. I she proves me wrong next cup, but I don't see that as a good sign

Slinky Linky has a perfect record in the cup, she is one of the most consistent fullbacks this team ever had, and was an important piece of /mlp/'s defense

Defence is always an undersung element of any team, but I'd like to give a mention to /bug/'s backfield for preventing our knockout loss from being more embarrassing than it was. /pnk/ were putting on some incredible pressure, and it showed in the dots - all but one steal by /bug/ happened on our side of the pitch. Some of those Praestes saves were spectacular. Notes (or polite suggestions) to our Queen: our defence is fine, but you need to work out a way to move the ball into enemy territory. No notes on Kevin. He's our special boy.
