They have a few really good angles and then they look super awkward from a bunch of other angles. Frankly, the Imalou style was just always meant for 2d.

Celia Kaspar (character designer who was signed on even before Imalou) spoke pretty freely on her panel at EponaFest a couple weeks ago. So freely that they didn't record the panel looks like it.
Anyway I asked her about the butts, she hesitated (even held back some info), but confirmed that they had to be toned down for 3d.

This. If you just treat it as a one off movie it's pretty good. Don't even consider it a new generation, just a pony related movie. A spin off movie.

It doesn’t have all the episodes because I think it’s like a mixed release right the 2d episodes and 3d episodes but on yayponies it has them selerated into a list of all 2d episodes and chapters 1-6 3d episodes

There's no reason to watch TYT. MYM is... acceptable, as long as you can suffer through the boring first chapter. TYT has no real story. I watched it back when it aired because it was just 5 minutes and we had something to discuss, but it's not really worth watching by yourself.

Yayponies never had anything in order outside of chunks released, Same reason that you'll find the MLP movies separate from the chronological canon. If you want a watch order, look elsewhere.

Would Zipp be uncomfortable by me gushing over her, or would she take it in stride? I like to think it'd just make her chuckle if I told her I jerked off to her everyday a-and then she'd give me relief in a friends-with-benefits kind of way... r-right?

Knowing this board, that'd be the first thing you say to her. And that would weird her out, or anyone else. >"Riiiight. Well, I gotta go practice flying. See ya around!"

I'll admit I don't care for her look. The wings are fucky, the mane is distracting and she has small asiatic eyes that look wrong on a pony to me.

I find it hilarious to think they had board meetings about this.
>"So these, um, "bronies"... yes. Well, our marketing department did some research, and it seems they are really into the ponies', umm, let's say... their 'shapely behinds'." >"I see. Well, what do you suggest we do to work around that, John?" >"I think we should model the ponies after dogs."
>>42284650 >they had board meetings about this.
100%.
G5 butts look so laughably tryhard flat, it's ridiculous. Absolutely unnatural shape, awkwardly sloping, almost concave instead of a round for, you know, something that has to move and has muscles. Flat and in one piece, their asses look like sweatpants pulled over some wood slab or something.
