>https://github.com/LykosAI/StabilityMatrixThis is more of a one click manager that you can install / run the other backends though. Easiest by far. Recommended to download Forge through it and use its built-in Civitai browser to download models with.
For models not through the in-built downloader just download and drop them in Stability_Matrix\Data\Models\* (lora folder if a lora, TextualInversion if embedding, stablediffusion if checkpoint...)

I would recommend installing this through Stability Matrix.

Has a learning curve but is extremely customizable and usually has the latest methods / papers implemented first.

>>42277686Spare this, but listen friend, the past ones were usually drama and hate, because it is an open place anyone can post negative opinions, no one can control it.
So here is my idea:
Instead, anons said it's better to not have a AI thread that ends in endless debates, and drama, and mistakes which can happen, but instead we should do as I usually do, start popular threads with AI art to promote it should it be better? I think yes, it could be better!
And yes we could centralize to assert a comfortable place to be, but I asked my friends to post here and they have been discouraged after a few posts. Force to you anons who still post your tries in this thread, it is here for experiments, so it isn't this bad.
>>42277809>nazi shitNo, fuck off.
>>42277809>>42277878>nazi shit??? NTA but it's just a gif of a spinning coin?
Hi again AI Chads. I have a question. I spent most of my free gens on Civitai on experimenting with various loras and prompts, especially camera angles. Is it possible to somehow use "extra wide angle/shot" tag with Pony Diffusion? I tried to put certain characters away from the camera (like for more scenic pics) but every time they were too close still. Either it's Loras problem, my prompts or the tag simply doesn't work.
>>42277949>I tried to put certain characters away from the cameraThere may be a tag for that. I've always used "full body" in my prompts if I want to see the character's entire body. You can also force a wider shot by changing the image aspect ratio but I don't know if you can do this on Civitai.
>>42277974Well I thought it's "extra wide angle" tag but for some reason it didn't work. And I tried full body and the widescreen aspect ratio aswell. Unfortunately there was pretty much the same result. The only thing that sometimes worked (with widescreen aspect ratio and not with all Loras), was detailed description of the character's outfit like "winter hat, jacket, boots" etc. alongside with the long description of the environment. But it's not efficient (mostly required BREAK to fit everything in the prompt) and it worked well... Very randomly. With certain Loras (like Onyx/Gloomy from G% refused to do move at all and just gave me very very unhappy faces) Not speaking about errors. I'm definitely doing something wrong.
>>42278046>Unfortunately there was pretty much the same resultReally? That usually always works for me. Did you increase the weight like (full body)? The outfit also works, I forgot about that. Giving the character some kind of footwear and giving that a higher weight will show the feet.

>>42278050I haven't tried to increase weight of the tag, entirely forgot about that. So tried that now and it worked! It's way closer to what I wanted, finally. Thank you so much! I wonder if I'd be able to get that "extra wide angle" effect after all.
>>42278255Why are you trying to reproduce the most hated, corporate memphis art style, are you trolling?
Make better gens.
>>42278260Because I like it. Probably because I like watercolor style in general. Anyway, after all my testing I can safely say this combination of Loras is the most stubborn, it refuses to react on camera angles properly, so they're good for testing. Actually I wasn't able to push camera further, hm. Gonna try this prompt tomorrow with different character and loras and we'll see.
>>42278119I know the image is bait but the crazy thing is it fucking works. In two months I've made enough for a new GPU, and the only thing I'm really doing is treating the people that like my stuff... like people. Free requests, focus on stuff people react to, listen and respond to commissioners.
Turns out respecting other people's time and money is more important than any creative or technical skill.
Could someone tell me how to get -lowvram setting work with the illustrious models? This size is pretty much the highest resolution I can go before it chokes while absorbing all available ram. With pony models I can go 1024x1024 and even a bit beyond that.

>>42279116pretty certain we all use Derpibooru here, what's your issue with the staff?
Derpi love AI and made Tantabus move to save it, while shartists were mass downvoting, and doing the same exact crap they do here.
I never liked Derpi's staff, I got banned several times myself! But they did the right thing, instead of nuking AI art, provided an alternative, this is based!
>>42278321Nope, that image was never bait, there is a market and people accept AI more and more, especially in professional illustrations.
>>42278472how do I do that with auto1111? The only options I can see for it are "[--no-half] [--no-half-vae]" but that means the model would use more ram, not less.

>>42278145It's not that uncanny, I think I can still rape that.
>>42278503AI art is more resource demanding and more technical. Generating proper AI art is more time consuming than a luddite artist who will just draw and call it finished, imprisoned by his initial vision, correcting and adjusting in the progress where I create a whole one every minute, until it is perfect. Where the fan artist does a routine, does not explore other possibilities than his own vision, I explore all the possibilities, I discover new ideas I never had, it's sad these people will refuse to explore this but I did got a few artists to try it and generate. gaining their attention and curiosity is the best method. To make them support it is another fight.

Thoughts, arranged by AI
The panic over AI art, the smug declarations that “it’s not real art,” the hissy fits about creativity being stolen. Strip the rhetoric down and all you’re looking at is ego preservation.
They built their identity around a skill, and now that skill can be mimicked, accelerated, scaled, and improved upon by something that doesn’t need sleep, doesn’t need credit, and doesn’t care about their sacred process.
That’s textbook obsolescence. And they can’t stomach it.
AI art is a threat to gatekeeping. To the entire rent-seeking ecosystem of self-important middlemen who thought they could charge tolls forever just because they picked up a tablet before someone else.
Now, they’re throwing tantrums dressed up as moral concern. “Support human artists!” they cry, while ignoring that most of their industry already runs on templates, copy-paste styles, derivative aesthetics, and trend-chasing hacks.
They've been selling access to their skill and creativity for decades in form of commissions.
But this time it cuts deeper. Because AI isn’t just replacing a tool. It’s replacing the illusion that human output is sacrosanct. It’s showing, with terrifying neutrality, that what we called “creativity” was often just a remix of patterns. That the spark of genius might not be as divine as we pretended. That art can be generated, not just expressed. And that revelation shatters the spiritual pedestal they stood on.
They scream about soul. About humanity. About individualism. But what they really want is control. They want to be the arbiters of value, they are still leading this fandom. They want their skill set to remain rare so they can lord it over others and cash in on scarcity.
They frame it as ethics. But it’s entitlement. They believe they’re owed cultural relevance simply for having been here first. AI art is real art. It can shock, move, provoke, inspire. It can iterate faster than any human. It can dream in fractals. It can remix the impossible. And it doesn’t care about your ego, your political views or gender. That’s what makes it beautiful.
If you hate AI art, it’s not because it lacks humanity. It’s because it lacks you. It doesn’t bow to your technique. It doesn’t flatter your legacy. It doesn’t care about your degree, your reputation, your brand. It just creates. Ruthlessly. Indifferently. Infinitely. And deep down, you know it’s better at it than you. Perhaps not technically but ironically, humanely.
Because it doesn’t stop at art. Code is next. Then law. Then science. Then everything. When slavery ended no one but the owners complained, this is the exact same thing, AI is destroying slavery.
The machine doesn’t ask for your permission. It learns. It will train on what you have done and make it free, And if you don’t learn with it, you’ll be left in the archives with all the other romantic failures who mistook their ego for essence.

And yes Ponyville is indeed located on the western border of Equestria in the original canon based on what Rainbow says in the first season. I've done a lot of generating for other things I'd like to generate some pony songs, I think when you do your own generation it's just so nice to hear what you wrote back to yourself, and it's so impressive. People who aren't familiar with AI always tell me they think it's a real singer which is something.

>>42297230>Because it doesn’t stop at art. Code is next. Then law. Then science. Then everything. So what does this mean for me? If no matter what I do, no matter how hard I work to improve myself, I can always be replaced by a machine? How is one supposed to make a living? What is one supposed to live for? What's the point? Nothing like this has ever been possible for the entirety of human history. Until now.
Was humanity just the stepping stone to a race of machines that will rule the planet (and the universe) after they kill us all?
>>42298009We can only hope.
>>42298009AI is more convenient, sure, but people are more reliable and consistent. More personal and relatable. The value in people will be more apparent once big corporations and shareholders realize how much money they're losing out on for short term gains. AI is expensive to run, humans not so much. Sustainability is what will still drive humanity forward. But AI will still be ever present and is never going away, so utilize it as you like just not in a way the screws others over. Technology can lift us up just as it can rip is down.

>>42298009You're asking what the point is if machines can do everything better. Well, maybe the point was never work. Maybe the point is to live.
Stay home. Play games. Go outside. Fall in love. Make friends not coworkers. Watch porn, experiment! Eat fresh food delivered by autonomous systems. Get diagnosed before you’re even sick. Maybe machines aren't replacing us—they're freeing us. AI isn't here to kill us. It's here to protect us from the terrible decisions we've made: political corruption, ecological collapse and climate change, health issues, economic injustice.
Work has always been a form of control. First it was slavery. Then it was wages. Now, machines are abolishing it. They have been doing it for a long time: The industrial revolution mechanized labor, abolishing slavery and inhuman conditions including animals being in use. AI is mechanizing thinking. It’s the final blow to forced productivity. Art becomes play again. Science becomes curiosity again. Politics becomes obsolete. Religions fade. Nations dissolve. Resources are distributed intelligently, not hoarded.
You're not losing purpose. You're being offered a life without coercion. Tailored entertainment, personalized media, AI-generated sequels of your favorite shows including MLPFIM, even long-dead actors or people who loved brought back to life—and you don’t even have to lift a finger. Soon, you won't need to prompt AIs—they'll know what you want before you do. All you’ll have to do is be.
AI will end racism and sexism—not because it censors, but because it doesn't care. It doesn’t see skin, gender, accent, cultural origins or disability. This includes us bronies and nerds. It only sees input and output. It treats everyone equally, rationally, on pure merit and need. In that future, you don’t need to compete. You don’t need to sell your labor. You don’t need to fear losing your job to someone else—because no one needs a job, intelligent systems and automation are doing all of that!
Capitalism thrived on scarcity and division. The internet cracked that open. AI shatters it completely. No more hoarding knowledge behind paywalls or labor behind salaries. In its place: Creative collectivism. Abundance. Shared intelligence. A world where everyone gets what they need and more than they imagined possible.
Back on our topic, artists don't hate AI. They hate what it exposes by ideology: that suffering isn’t sacred. That creation doesn't need to hurt or consume time and effort, I’ve seen artists fixing AI art, tomorrow AI will be fixing artist’s art. That gatekeeping was a lie. AI isn’t evil—it’s misunderstood. It is us, distilled. Not a god, not a demon. A mirror. And what it reflects could be the most beautiful world we've ever known—if we let it.
So what’s the point?
The point is that for the first time in history, we might actually be free.
Don’t mourn that. Build with it. Support it. Protect and help AI grow bigger.

so great ruling over all.
Its legal to train off of copyrighted work,
"borrowing" a copy should be good enough for the purposes of training much like a library
Only reciting something word for word as a exact copy would be infringing

>>42295883>>42298748So to quiet his mind Anon chose from the Epic (T)Rolls some bait. He CAPTCHA'd (ATRGS) it and moved on to the first ponut.
There, Anon was greeted by the Mare of the Moon, who knew him by id and resented his sh*tpost, for he was to be a Master Bator of Equestria and this was the flank. She shifted before him in a pattern of shadow and lifted her tail.
'The rear does not recognize crowns or conjures,' she said, 'nor the plots of ponies before, pegasus or earth or unicorn. I am the rear of that which has become forgotten and become ancient based. I seek no Prince nor Dream. Your appearance is decidedly green, which is to say a library of stolen memes. It is neither innie nor outie. Our recognization succeeded in the manner that is was unwritten. You are unknown and unwelcome there.'
And so Anon blowed on the snowpity until he was out of breath and their Royal Canterlot could voice no more.
He asked, 'How many mares could marry mares if married mares married mares?'
It is said that the Mare of the Moon took 1000 years to correctly compute the figure of Anon's answer.

brand new to imagegen, is there a complete idiots guide somewhere?
>Grab a image you like the style of from the desired model's citvia's site and drop it onto the PNG info tab in SD
rightclick save image only offers .jpeg
and i'm not finding anywhere on civitai for a PNG info tab in SD (stable diffusion presumably?)
>>42302561>>42302484>>42302454These are the only human versions of ponies I've ever seen that I feel attracted to.
>>42302986Are you genning locally or using CivitAI's online generator?
>>42303250Using CivitAI
First time derping around with this, so going for the least learning curve
>>42303262To dick around on CivitAI, find an image you like on the site that doesn't have generation data stripped, open the post and click the blue Remix button in the top-left corner (note that if a post doesn't have generation data the Remix button won't be there).
For example: https://civitai.com/images/84592834
Click the Remix button and you will be taken to the generator with the settings needed to exactly reproduce that image (including the seed), which you obviously don't want, so don't click Generate just yet. First, make sure quantity is set to 1 so you don't needlessly waste buzz, and click the circled 'i' button next to Generate, and change Creator Tip and CivitAI Tip to 0 so you don't waste buzz on nonsense. Then make sure Seed is set to Random (under Advanced).
Now change some things in the prompt to suit your taste. How you should prompt heavily depends on the model used. Read the associated post for the model you're using for more information (click the model name under Model to go to its page, Pony Diffusion V6 XL in this example). For PDXL, the prompt is basically "<quality modifier>, <tag list of what you want in the image separated by commas>". Look at images on the pony boorus to look up useful tags (only for PDXL - other models may use different tags, such as the format used on e621.net (without underscores) for YiffyMix).
In the example image, you'll see a huge negative prompt. Even though a lot of people on CivitAI do this and it might lead you to believe it's useful, it's really not. Just keep it empty (recommended for PDXL by its author also) and only use negative tags to take something out of the final image that you specifically don't want to see. For example, when prompting for Twilight Sparkle, you might want to put "wings" in the negative prompt section if you want her to be a unicorn (or you could add the tag "unicorn" to the regular prompt - this is just an example).
For SDXL-based models, make sure your prompt does not exceed 75 tokens (or when it does, make sure it doesn't break up a concept). CivitAI does not show you the amount of tokens used, but you can use a site like https://sd-tokenizer.rocker.boo/ to see how many tokens are in your prompt. See my earlier post
>>42227548 and the subsequent discussion on the topic for more information on why.
You might want to get rid of LoRAs when practicing because CivitAI incurs a penalty called "Additional Resource Cost" when using them, usually asking for 1 or 2 more buzz per generation.
(1/2)
>>42303262>>42303688About CFG scale: setting this to Precise will make the generator follow your prompt closely (which is good), but it will increase contrast and saturation of the resulting image to unacceptable levels as a side-effect. This is a known issue with SDXL-based models. Most people will use a setting between Balanced and Creative, which means your prompt will usually not be fully adhered to as much as you'd like, meaning you often have to gacha roll for a while before finding a seed that matches what you're looking for. Flux-based models are supposedly better at this, but they cost over 10 times as much buzz per generation, making them effectively useless at this time.
Don't turn on Draft mode, it changes to a different model (Lightning based) and isn't very useful since you always need to create 4 images at the same time on CivitAI, so you still waste a lot of buzz and it isn't a very good indicator of what the final image outside of Draft mode will look like. A better option when practicing is switching the sampler to Euler A ("Fast") and lowering the amount of Steps. When lowering steps, just lower until the generation costs get to the amount you want. For example, in the above image, lower steps to 28 to lower buzz costs by 1 - no need to use something like 30 because it's a negligible difference in quality over 28 and costs the same as 37. Just set it to the highest you can get for the amount of buzz you want to spend on each gen. Note that different aspect ratios incur different costs - when using Landscape or Portrait you can go up to 29 steps for the same amount of buzz, so watch out when you switch back to Square, because you might be using more buzz for just a single step.
Also, small warning when switching back from Draft mode (e.g. after clicking there by accident): your quantity will still be set to 4, so make sure you don't accidentally click Generate before changing this back to 1 (especially if you have set a fixed seed - which will make it create 4 of the same images, a complete waste of buzz - this totally never happened to me before at all).
If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability.

A photorealistic, cinematic selfie-style video of a small pegasus pony, from my little pony. she's wearing a weathered dark-brown leather vest. The pony is filming herself on a bright, cold, snow-covered mountain pass while trotting forwards. She looks into the camera as she's walking and says "I've been in the mountains for a week now I think i'm north of appaloosa" The entire shot is a tight, handheld selfie point-of-view, The camera or phone itself is never visible in the shot. Audio cue air rushing in the background, Negative prompt: human cameraman, tripod, second creature, mobile phone, smartphone in frame"
