I think a redeemed Cozy would have a place in Canterlot Castle, as an advisor or military strategist for Celestia. She's heartless and pragmatic, allowing her to make decisions without getting hung up on the people involved. But redeemed as she is, she also wouldn't just throw away lives on a whim; if for nothing else, than the understanding that every life lost weakens her strategy and future options.

I think the best Cozy redemptions would be where she's only "lightly" redeemed. She's still in some ways a bad pony, but she's now a bad pony who acts decisively in the interests of the peoples she's come to care for. Plus, a military role leans into the chessmaster feel she puts out, while being something more practical and less on-the-nose.

An older Cozy—teenager, or mare—would look really sharp in a prim, shiny military uniform and hat, her curls perfectly formed and formal. I can see her frowning down thoughtfully at a map of battle plans, reddish eyes quietly rolling over the parchment.

I still feel a deep, visceral hatred for what the show became in its last years.
Cozy to me represented the perfect end to the moral degradation that had seeped into everything in media by that time.
I never did see a good refutation of the posts in this screencap, only attempts at deflection.
It was never perfect, but it came out of a genuine and deep frustration felt at that time by many other than myself.
Years later I have seen such revisionism among newer fans and even older fans who have conspired to defend even the worst aspects of the show.
My hatred and bitterness turned to sadness and acceptance long ago, but it says a lot that I haven't watched a single episode of this show since the finale premiered in 2019.
Those last seasons left such a nasty, bitter taste in my mouth, that I can't stomach watching any episode again, only clips and fan content.

So you can only imagine my excitement when the show decided to go this route with Cozy. She's just an evil kid who MUST be killed. To watch her in her final moments - no bravado, no bargaining, just complete and utter terror as her life ends - god, it was fucking incredible.

I wonder if she would have gotten along well with mean Twilight. They're both scheming rats and Twilight in particular seems incredibly partial to turning on her allies, but maybe there would be some sort of mutual respect. Then again, perhaps not. They are both highly intelligent schemers, but the one thing that sets them apart is that Twilight actually has power to fall back on where Cozy has none. If it came to blows between them, Twilight wouldn't even have to use wits to beat Cozy, magic would solve the issue rather quickly. I can't imagine that Cozy's attempts to endear herself to mean Twilight would go well either given how utterly hostile this version of Twilight is. Maybe with Tirek and Chrysalis in the picture, an uneasy alliance could be formed. It could be an interesting dynamic.

she was right to try to rid the world of magic, but she was approaching it the wrong way. she tried using magic to destroy magic, but since magic is sin, you can't fight sin with sin. The real answer is to repent from using magic, and abstain from using it anymore in the future. Then when you need help dealing with it, instead of you doing actions, you pray asking Jesus to deal with it so you don't have to sin by engaging with it.

in the prophets it says one day God will destroy magic and will remove unclean spirits from the land entirely

Cozy Glow's punishment was too harsh, given how she was groomed into being a villain. It also defeats the principal that anyone (like Starlight) can be redeemed

Here's my proposed punishment for her, followed by rehabilitation:
