Genuinely not. I'm not saying that she doesn't have the balls to charge head-first into reckless situations. If her life was on the line for anything else, I know she would rise up to the occasion. However, if the choice is between keeping her wings or dying like a bitch, she would choose the latter because a life without wings is like being dead anyways.

Why wouldn't Celestia just give her wings to ensure the elements of harmony remain intact?

Fluttershy would just convince Discord to fix them. And she'd be really heartbroken over it too so Discord wouldn't twist it into some cruel joke on purpose. Because that would not only make Fluttershy even sadder but also pissed at him for pulling genie bullshit on her suffering friend.
