If Nu-G4 incorporates some of the cooler and edgier ideas of MLP IDW, while embracing Anime tropes it could be something special.
MLP G4 is already popular in Japan, South Korea, and China.

Since the main story hinges on Twilight finding friends to defeat Nightmare Moon, what would a prequel involving the M6 even be about? You literally can't show them together since it is established canon they only met after Celestia told Twilight to make friends.

I hate weebs, and stopped watching any and all anime after discovering literally every story follows the same tired tropes and there are really only a couple of good anime series at all. If they take any lessons from G5 at all they should try to realize that people like a Squidward type character in the show. But Hasbro being Hasbro is going to fuck it up, as they are wont to do.

I'm more inclined to believe there won't be a real series, and Hasbro is going to focus on digital content like mobile game slop to promote the generation. They already made serious inroads in that department with G5.

Even if they do make a cartoon, it's going to be at best like TYT: 5-minute Youtube slop. And don't think for a second they won't be using AI for it.

As much as I admire the optimism, between the end of G4 itself and G5's subsequently grave-pissing I struggle to believe they wouldn't fuck it up spectacularly
