Just watched this episode for the first time
It pissed me off, why did Fluttershy just keep acting the same way regardless of what he did? Even when she got pissed off she didn’t do anything and just let Discord fuck around before all of a sudden stopping what he was doing just because Fluttershy wouldn’t skate with him?
I seriously struggle to comprehend this episode or how people like it, Fluttershy was a total pushover and Discord turning over happened only by whim of him feeling pity for not having any friends in ages.
I rate this episode a solid 4.5/10, it just made me angry, doubly so with Discord saying he’d do good magic “most of the time” in picrel scene.

Still was shitty to see how much of a pushover Fluttershy was, especially with her friends being actively harassed at the dinner table.

Fluttershy was trying to give Discord the benefit of the doubt.
Out of all her other friends who were quick to judge or immediately become hostile towards Discord, Fluttershy wanted to be supportive as much as she could.
I think in her mind it was like trying to tame an animal, she didn't want to see the creature get put down (or in this case turned back into stone) so she tried her best to be there for Discord and only in the end did he realize she actually supported him.
