>>42303314>I agree, I don't think she has any real friends. But she certainly didn't hate them or think they were evil. She saw them as tools and playthings, same as she sees all ponies.Well, sorry to question my Goddess on anything, but they WERE evil. They supported her being sent to Hell, mocked her, and then cheered when she was brutally killed. They’re irredeemable scum and I can’t imagine her not agreeing with me on that when she returns. I think she may’ve already seen it, but if she didn’t, this would be one of the few things she was incorrect about.
Maybe Cozy Glow needs Pinkie Pie-like awareness to see the true source of this Great Evil. Sure, within the context of the story, the students are irredeemable scum. But if Cozy becomes aware that the whole world is a TERRIBLE season of a cartoon, in which all the writers with real talent left years ago, then maybe she can use that to her advantage. If she rewrites her own story, the Students don’t inherently need to be evil. But as it stands now, they are and their whole species should pay.
>But that these creatures (Silverstream, Gallus, Smolder, Yona, and Ocellus) murdered a kid doesn't mean their whole species is evil, any more than the fact Celestia and Luna murdered a kid means all ponies are evil.Gonna take a meta perspective again and say that if this was the writers’ attempt to show how “good” these species can be, they absolutely do all deserve death.
I mean, think about it, the writers would probably say that these creatures are “among the best of their kind.” That needs to be the case for the story to work. They’re certainly not uniquely evil. That was hammered home as NOT being the case in the minds of the writers. These Students are the BEST that their species has to offer, and THIS is how fucking evil they are!
But yes, this has to be viewed within the context of a terribly written story written by evil people. There’s no entire groups of people that I ACTUALLY support the death of. But the monsters who wrote this story imbued the very universe with their own evil perspective. The perspective that “Non-perfect people deserve immediate death with no second chances, especially if they’re children.” A universe can not be allowed to go on with this being the morality. It needs total and complete destruction.
That’s why I find G5 so based for destroying Twilight’s legacy and seemingly having her responsible for mass death and genocide. It’s the natural conclusion to her unjustifiable evil.
I didn’t hate the Students myself until the Season 9 finale. Now I will never forgive them. It’s a natural response.
