To be fair I can't imagine them having a dedicated farm for animals, too much of their value to ponies is the way they aid farming plants by providing fertilizer and eating undesirable elements like weeds and poor-quality products.

Hell, even Fluttershy has a chicken coop. And who's to decide what a "farm" is. Obviously ponies aren't going to have a modern commercial-size slaughterhouses. AJ has enough pigs to be considered a pig farm. She doesn't just have two or three. Sweet Apple Acres has a bit of everything. But the focus is the tree farm so that's what it's known for.
