"Talent" is a somebody else's skill you don't want to appreciate. You tell someone that they have "talent" when you want to disregard all the hours they spend on doodling garbage and improving their skills.

If everypony had such mindset, we would have absolutely nothing, no ponies, no houses, no games, no music. Those who create stuff, HAVE to create something that sucks before they are able to create something good. You need to spend time on purposeful practice before you get your "talent". And you need to be aware that it is not a quick "do it for 2 hours for a single week and you are already at the level of the masters of the craft". No, you need to be aware of scales of time, the pros that REALLY good at stuff spend 1000~10000 hours practicing. And not just brain-dead "repeat exactly the same thing over and over again", but instead always putting themselves into the situation where they are at the edge of their current abilities. Always somewhere between "moderately hard but very doable, I can successfuly do it 95% of time" and "incredibly hard and one(just one) step beyond my current abilities, I successfully do it 33% of time".
Of course, that also means you have to honestly acknowledge the EXACT extend of your current abilities, even if it stings and makes you feel stupid and you would rather hide behind nebulous phrases like "I have no talent". You don't learn skills if you avoid anything that lampshades your current lack of them. You have to accept the feeling of being dump and admit to yourself the EXACT skills you are lacking, including not knowing what even the first skill you should be learning. And you have to accept the fact that there is 1000~10000 hours gap between you and the pros, that the pros did not get their skills for free. And you also have to stop viewing leveling up your skills as some sort of punishment, you are not at school when you do stuff for yourself. Only then you can make a truly first step of your journey as the Creator of the stuff YOU want to create.
