She has the most supportive parents ever and everypony loves her. She loves herself, too, and she has unending confidence. She's one of the six most important ponies in Equestria. She is everything you're not. Oh, and that one time it felt like your dreams were coming true, when she said she'd be your big sister? She immediately flew away for a week to do Wonderbolts stuff and you didn't see or hear from her at all. Just another pony who forgot about you, nothing new there.
The worst part's that Rainbow Dash's parents would eagerly adopt you, but your own parents will never relinquish custody even though they're never around and don't care about you. They just don't want to admit it to themselves, and they care more about saving face than what's good for you.
You're relentlessly bullied in school for everything from being a blank flank to being disabled.
The only thing you have going for you is your two best friends, and the most joy you know aside from the occasional trick on your mobility scooter is helping a pony find their purpose in life, because the only thing you're really good at is helping ponies find the meaning your life lacks.
Scootaloo is so pessimistic because her life is miserable aside from the CMCs.
