For a bit over a month now I've been running 11 groups to connect local ponyfags with others near them so they can make friends and do stuff together. Many locals who otherwise had no idea about eachother have met thus far and all groups combined have about 450 people total. The group populations so far are roughly as follows.
South East USA 125

Figured it might be worth mentioning, Some guys in Texas met for the 4th of July, some guys met in the pacific south west USA at some anime expo, some guys met in the northeast USA at some other con, some guys are meeting in the UK today and of course the Swedes did a meet in the last day.

Denver meetup was small, but fun. They were anticipating over 100,000 attendees for it, which was quite impressive. Went to CiCi's for dinner afterwards. Met a few pony fans outside of the posse though they didn't stick around.

Also found this totally awesome Octavia in the vendor hall.
