It’s not really a problem unless you work a shit ton. Back when that’s all I did and I had maybe an hour and a half of time to myself everyday, I’d still put on ponies every night at bedtime. It’s a bit harder to be involved with the board, because most of it is shit and you need to have the time to go through every stupid fucking thread and find what hidden gems there are to be had, but if all you’ve got is a few minutes out of the day then you can still just pick a thread or three and post there whenever you have a chance. Even a full time job gives you plenty of time to pony though.

Pretty business Rara.
I work from home, usually 8 hours, on a relatively flexible schedule. Sometimes I lurk while waiting for some processes to complete, but given that the job is wearing me out mentally, usually I browse the board right before sleep and after waking up. That's when I'm most able to indulge in ponies, if you know what I'm trying to say. This is the bigger issue for me, not exactly time itself since I could have enough of that available every day, just need to find those moments when I'm also not numb after work.
It's humbling to see that anons with actual real life jobs spend more time at work (transport etc) and are tired out physically, meanwhile here I am complaining just because of silly code monkeys constantly creating pile of silly issues for an infrastructure monkey. I'm glad I have ponies to take the mind off stress and read about them doing cutesy stuff, like in those one-off threads with some background pony highlighted.
>>42342543
>It’s a bit harder to be involved with the board, because most of it is shit and you need to have the time to go through every stupid fucking thread and find what hidden gems there are to be had
Well said. Filters help, but I still feel a bit guilty about not frequenting specific pony generals, at most from time to time I visit one of them and lurk until thread is over.

Don't think of it as working for the ponies, but simply work on the side, and live for the ponies. Let the poni influence you to take up other passions and endeavors in life. Write a fanfic, draw some poni, learn to ride horseback, learn to sew, learn to fly, etc. This is what the ponies were always meant for to begin with, to inspire you and help you throughout your life. Don't just find time here and there to indulge in them a little like its a social media app or whatever the fuck, because that's how ponies, and most other fandoms for that matter, have met their downfall. Persistence is the way and community is key, and given how difficult it is to achieve, it's obviously worth it.

in that time I do all kinds of different things. Go out with friends sometimes, or walk alone, shower, replay resident evil games, play fallout games and all other kinds of games that there are, read fallout equestria, browse 4chan/mlp/ mostly, attempt to get better at drawing
If I didn't have any free time at all life would not be worth living

I had a dream to stay a virgin and create my own videogame and do sequels from time to time like Scott Cawthon and just have a lot of free time and money
I guess that turned out to just be a fatasy because I don't actually enjoy doing it
I can think deeper into it and think that maybe my dream was to not become a game dev specifically, but create some cool worlds and characters. I could try being a writer. But I guess before that I need to be better at wording.

>Don't just find time here and there to indulge in them a little like its a social media app or whatever the fuck, because that's how ponies, and most other fandoms for that matter, have met their downfall.
You are bringing in a very good point, anon, but I had to learn the hard way that it's okay to just lurk ponies, so that I don't feel guilt from not creating anything for them. That made me very miserable, because as you've mentioned, I felt the downfall of poniponi would be imminent if everyone was just lurking, and I - technically with lots of time to spend on ponies - wasn't helping. That's too much to put on one's shoulders, this responsibility needs to be carried by many anons together.
I hope that one day I'll find something I can give them from my heart, not from fear of losing them, but I need to avoid being stressed out by this. So I just lurk almost every day and try to use my remaining brain cells to post a few green words in threads. I'm thankful for anons who do get inspired by poners and create for them, live with them. I guess I'm just not there yet. I hope you understand, anon.

Yes, most of my job involves unbreaking the shit the unlicensed mexican contractors break while they work on the planes.
Ironically you're safer flying Spirit or Frontier because at least their planes are new, Delta and United have 737s that were flying in the 80's. That's 40+ years of dumbasses working on them versus Spirit who finances a new airliner that has yet to be royally fucked by one of the Hernando Rodriguezes, DaQuan Jeffersons, or Bill Earl Jameses I didn't get a chance to doublecheck the work of.

I have heard this too. I used to talk to one of the janitors at my college sometimes. Her building was at the edge of campus, and she said she was lucky that her assignment was the upper floors. I used to work in a cinema. People can be disgusting. My motto used to be "If it can be swept, it's a nothingburger", doesn't make much of a difference to sweep a little popcorn or a lot, but it's frustrating to try wiping cheese sauce or salsa off the seats (most of them fabric, not faux leather), or soak up spilled cola seeping into the seats or carpets. Still, it was an everyday occurrence, so was brushing toilets now and then or cleaning the concessions every day. Mopping up vomit was rare, luckily.

The single most disgusting experience happened just outside of the actual cinema building. Somebody walked into our staff-only side entrance and took the nastiest liquid shit on the WALL, it stunk up the whole staircase. It was greenish, oozing down the wall and had a stench so wretched, your knees felt weak. Whoever did that must have been deadly ill and/or drugged up. Out of a handful of wagies, only one person beside me had the strength to approach it, wearing three layers of face masks and gloves, holding our breath yet still choking on the stench. I barely remember how we went about cleaning it, but we did it fast, with lots of paper towels and swinging a bucket of water at the wall to mop up the diluted death. We bathed the area in disinfectant, too. The wagies who were there will never forget.

I don't. I have the first chapter of a fic 90% finished and don't have the energy to finish it. Even if I did it would mean I have to rewatch large swathes of the later seasons to make sure I don't fuck up any of the lore/details for future chapters.

I listen to most of the songs from the show in addition to some fandom music, my favorites are Babs Seed, Flawless, Best Friends Until The End Of Time, and We're Friendship Bound. Occasionally when I'm feeling extra autistic I'll put that shit on full blast with the windows down
