More like aspie here. But kinda same. I became obsessed with human interactions and I've become one hell of a social chameleon, I've been able to successfully make friends with an extremely diverse set of friend groups. Still love ponies though

I'm thinking I may have it, but I'm not sure. Some of the symptoms fit me but others don't. I do have chronic depression, and I had significant social phobia growing up, and I think those can be mistaken for autism. I suspect I'm also on the asexual spectrum somewhere, and I think that might be related. When I see anons here lusting over mares, I don't really get the appeal, but I also have nothing against it either. You do you.

I almost certainly am, and am basically the same way, but I dunno i it's worth stressing out about if you're already functionally an autist regardless of a diagnosis. I stumble over my words constantly, can only really talk about my niche interests, and can't "mask" whatsoever, so I'm basically fucked and destined to die IRL-friendless, let alone anything further.

How long ago was it that they announced autism was now a spectrum instead of a yes/no thing? I remember people were saying it meant everyone is at least a little autistic but I just saw that as hyperbole.

I don't have any formal diagnosis, but having talked with some therapists, I very likely have schizoid and/or schizotypal personality disorder. Those have a lot of of overlap with sperg syndrome, at least.

I'm not professionally diagnosed but I'm pretty damn sure. Pic related is what I use to go rucking at local hiking trails. Hell, last time I went out I got stopped by someone who works with non-verbal autists and was forced into a conversation with them.

I always hung out with the weird kids and if I had any chance at being normal as a young adult I've now well ignored that opportunity. I'm not as bad as some spergs but at the point if I didn't have the tism I'd almost be disappointed in myself. My power level had to come from somewhere.

I most likely have it. Though I've never been diagnosed/tested. When I was young my mother was of the believe that autism doesn't exist and is just something parents make up for attention. Nowadays I don't see what the benefit of a formal diagnosis would be. Not like it would change anything and I already have a job where my autism is probably a benefit.

Never checked for autism cause it's a post soviet shithole. My overprotective mom isolated me from peers until I went to school and then never allowed me to go anywhere unsupervised so I ended up being socially awkward. This caused me to get kicked out of uni, out of few jobs. I only managed to fix it in my mid 20s when I found good online friends.
