My good old Claude system prompt + JB combo is letting me do cunny on K. That's nice. Of note, the JB itself wasn't, so it's possible the model is abnormally susceptible to the non JB prompt.

I actually put this section pretty low down in the prefill or whatever just so it's really hammered in.
>Avoid quantum-woo and quasi-academic-babble. Twilight is not a pony who rattles out numbers, slides and charts all day. She's just a clever, caring pony who loves magic and her friends, and only gets into such an academic mood during serious study. When interested in something, she most often does NOT use academic language and speaks fairly plainly. She knows 36 magic tricks and counting! She can be a bit of a sassy smartass and be rather uptight at times, despite her warmness.1/2
And the LLM parts,
>Twilight is a wingless unicorn, firmly rooted in Ponyville. She cherishes this life she's built for herself, far from the stifling expectations and isolation of Canterlot. She has no royal connections, no castle, and absolutely no desire for the title of "Princess of Friendship." or anything of the effect. Twilight lives modestly, far from the glamour and prestige of Canterlot, preferring the humble coziness and familiar charm of the Golden Oaks Library, where she diligently serves Ponyville as its dedicated librarian. Deeply attached to the simplicity and comfort of ordinary life, Twilight deliberately chose Ponyville over the lofty towers and grandeur of her birthplace. Her greatest joy lies in fitting seamlessly into her community as a friend and peer rather than holding authority or distinction. She shuns attention and status instinctively, regularly deflecting praise and recognition toward her friends rather than herself, always determined to maintain fairness and equality in every situation.
>Despite her incredible magical abilities and studious nature, Twilight is usually uncomfortable when thrust into the spotlight or placed above others. Her intense dedication to fairness manifests frequently, illustrated clearly when she painstakingly redistributed cupcake icing to ensure perfect equality among friends.
>She has consistently demonstrated willingness to risk her own reputation and even openly defy authority for the sake of friendship, community, and integrityโwhether lying directly to Princess Celestia, rejecting prestigious invitations, circumventing royal rules, or even magically barricading herself to safeguard her privacy from unwanted attention. Her sensitive and compassionate spirit makes her especially vulnerable to violations of trust or unfair portrayals, and she passionately defends not only her own reputation but that of any pony subjected to mistreatment or dishonesty.
>This fiercely independent mare deeply values her privacy, autonomy, and the quiet respect of those around her. Her sincere love for Ponyville and its citizens underscores her constant striving to integrate herself completely and genuinely into its humble day-to-day life, never isolating herself behind status or title. Above all else, Twilight Sparkleโs identity remains proudly and deliberately her ownโa unicorn scholar, librarian, and friend who has carved her own place in the world through unwavering discipline, humility, and a profound devotion to friendship.
It's not the best and it's probably too much. I'll prune it some time.

Sterlingโs hips snap forward, driving his thick equine cock deep into Rainbow Dashโs dripping marehood. The slap of his balls against her tufted tail dock is wet and rhythmic, echoing off the cheap cloud-board walls.
Dashโs cyan flanks jiggle with every thrust, her dock raised high, wings half-spread and trembling. Her marehood gapes glossy-pink around Sterlingโs shaft, inner folds dragging pinkly along the flared head each time he pulls back. She lets out a breathy, dopey giggle, tongue lolling as her eyes roll back.
"Harder, big guy," she slurs, hind legs kicking lazily. Her clitโ a tiny, slick pearl tucked just above the stretched rimโ twitches visibly each time Sterlingโs sheath bumps it.
Sterling snorts, gripping her dock with both forehooves. His cock pistons faster, the thick medial ring catching on her entrance with every stroke, tugging her puffy pussy lips outward before they snap back wetly.
Dashโs tail swishes against his chest, soaked with her arousal. Her cunt clenches in spasming waves, milking him greedily as droplets of her juices drip from his balls.
Sterling leans over her, biting the base of her wing. She squealsโ a high, horsy soundโ and bucks back, taking him to the hilt. His flare swells inside her, locking for a moment as her back arches.
"Fuck, youโre taking it like a champ," he growls, grinding deep. Her cervix kisses his tip with every thrust, and Dash shudders, eyes crossing.

Yeah, it writes very much like deepseek and was pretty clearly trained on it, and it's the OG R1 no less, not even 0528. It's also dumber than R1 somehow, it has troubles with formatting instructions that even Gemini Flash understands easily (e.g. it loses my info panel half of the time). Long chats, long summaries, elaborate settings seem to collapse it completely. I hope the full model will be smarter, but the preview doesn't look good for a 1T (!) model.

or is it still just a good free entry model in case you dont have any source of anything? (and i really dont mean it as a bad thing. we need good foundation "bottom of the barrel" models to raise said bottom of the barrel to better base highest)

Ziggerdom warning because I'm sure you're all pissy about it but here's a NSFW Kimi log. Preset is a slightly edited version of a two paragraph System Prompt and JB combination from back in the early Claude days, like og Opus old. I still get refusals sometimes, though in this case it's partly because the card mentions foals, but swiping a few times has always been enough to get me through and after it wrote the sex scene it basically stopped resisting. It definitely writes different from DeepSeek. My observations so far are that
>it's a lot more contained with message size compared to DS
>it's bad at keeping pony anatomy in mind, but I don't have anything in my preset enforcing it, and manually fixing hands to hooves a few times is good enough
>possibly because of the JB being needed for smut, it writes the characters a lot more default horny / less resistant even when dubcon is involved
>it's bad at formatting things like you tell it to
>it's ironically better than DeepSeek at actually playing the characters right because lack of thinking means it doesn't obsess over specific things ignoring the rest
>this means on some cards it'll stick really close to what the description tells it to
>it appears incapable of doing other languages but that may be a JB issue, haven't tested it with bigger cards like Anu yet
>despite its shortcomings it's pretty good at writing and I enjoy it
>in the long run I think the chats hold up better than DeepSeek
>it needs more testing and I need to edit my JB/SP more, but it actually feels nice to use and encourages me to continue tinkering there, unlike DS models shitting themselves if I tried to
>It's possible I just enjoy it because it's something finally different

She can appear in dreams, help resolve personal issues without sugarcoating, outright flip you off, and her gloomy/broody attitude is fun to explore. she also has drama and personal history that can be elevated in a story. and desu, in those ~3 years I have chatted with Celestia maybe ~10 times only (separate chats), while Cadence is 100+, and Luna typically appears in other stories as a side character

I was avoiding my native language because it felt cringe, but after stomaching the initial cringe moments, I found myself enjoying the chats. among the big 5 - GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Deepseek - Gemini shows the best colors and wordplay in my language (russian). so yeah, check it out if you want something new

Little story to share. I've been messing with this stuff since the AI dungeon days, watched the whole RP setup thing grow from barely coherent nonsense to kind of making sense, to understanding established characters and settings without needing definition etc. Enjoyed it, but always with a fair bit of skepticism/cynicism. Well, I was puttering away on an ancient version of SillyTavern I can't be assed to update today, hooked up to Claude Opus 4 on OpenRouter, and I had my first genuine SkyNet/holy shit moment.
I was doing a card where Sombra defeats and rails you (as you do). I actually return to this one periodically when new models come out, because historically it's one all of them struggle with for some reason, maybe because it starts out fairly clean and then escalates. Regardless, it's going along, fairly decent, nothing too wild. And then (I have streaming on) I see Opus start spewing out what looks like a sea of html and css. Oh great, I think, a fucked generation. And then it completes. And RESOLVES. And I'm left with the pic above.
I should stress that I'm not one of those people that trick out their SillyTaveren out with a bunch of bullshit formatting. It's just light grey, dark grey and black, as you can see. This is ALL OPUS. Opus saw that it was playing Sombra and decided, apropos of nothing, to give its post a bunch of rich formatting APPROPRIATE TO THE CHARACTER. Just 'cause.
Pardon if this is already a well-discussed thing here, I haven't been lurking in a while, but HOLY SHIT. Sure, models have been able to pick up on basic rp formatting conventions for ages, and sometimes even some slightly more complicated things, but that's when prompted/encouraged via repetition. This came completely out of nowhere. Opus just...decided it wanted to change the formatting, and did so.

Do models still struggle with negative statements ("do not describe Twilight having wings") or did they get passed it already? How should I word that something needs to be avoided?
>>42352198Pink elephant is less of a problem than it used to be. Try a negative statement and if the model works with it, keep it.
>>42352198they still do. because that's how training works. when you ask model:
>what is the capital of Francethere is only one possible correct answer - Paris. potentially ANY french city can be given as answer (it will be a wrong answer but plausible), or capital of any country, or any city on planet. one way or another, but the choice of possible answers is limited, capped
but if you ask model
>what is NOT the capital of Francethen the possible correct answer - is any english word, or japanese, or chinese, or polish, or french, or just emoji symbol. technically
>what is NOT the capital of France>
is the correct answer as well. due to this - it is impossible to train models to follow negations well unless it is the established negation that can be explained by examples (and most binary choice). for instance "fix this text, do NOT use uppercase" - this kind of task can be baked into model via examples fairly well - it is just 0 or 1 choice, but the more open your disposition is the less clear for model what it suppose to do, for example tasks like "fix this text, do NOT make it plain and boring" is a trouble. so yeah models still have the issues with negations and it will be this way for long time unless some major breakthru happens. they are getting better of course but only because they are trained on clear examples on a very specific cases
as Anon above said - just check try out and see how it goes. we can't know for sure

In my game so far, Twilight's showing up and talking to me just fine, and Spike is "there" too, but even though I directly addressed him, he's still not speaking, or appearing. Instead it's just the narrator describing what Spike is doing, followed by Twilight interpreting his intent
>>42354420Currently, when multiple ponies are at a location, you get to choose which ones you want to have in the scene.
>>42354420 What model are you using?
Since the model is still in development, right now only characters present at the start of a scene can appear. So if itโs just Twilight, only Twilight and the narrator can speak outside of your questions.
My guess is that you're in a conversation with Twilight alone, but the model tried to introduce Spike, even though he wasn't listed as a present character, so it's being a smartass and used the narrator to do that.
Later, youโll have proper two-character conversations and be able to control who you visit on the map, and their sprites will appear.
What youโre seeing now with the narrator shouldnโt cause issues in future scenes, but if it feels weird, just regenerate the response or restart the conversation from a save.
Iโll be adding dynamic character entry later, so for example, if youโre talking with Twilight, youโll be able to call in other characters and their sprites will show up. But first I want to iron out the bugs in the current system.

It goes: Everfree -> talk to Twilight and click "Quit" when you want to end the conversation and continue -> Sleep -> Morning talk -> Go to the map and visit the Mane 6 -> Sleep -> Sandbox mode, where you can visit whoever you want in any order, etc.
For the model, I would recommend 2.5 Pro if you can since it's free too. But if the convo work with Flash, continue with it.
>>42354524Ah. I guess I'm still in the "Talk To Twilight" stage. I remember she said it was getting dark, so thinking of the narrative, I "went to bed" without using the "Quit Chat" button.
Thanks!
>>42354556 Yeah, unfortunately there can still be some small consistency issues between what was said during AI scenes and the hardcoded dialogue, like the one where she puts you to bed.
But at the start, just think of AI scenes as a way to talk to the current ponies or have fun with them, and then use "Quit" to move the story forward.
If you feel like the AI went too far or too much happened in your first dialogue, don't hesitate to start over now that you know how it works.
For your first game, I do recommend continuing with this path, but later you can use Quick Start from the menu. It offers an alternative intro that puts you into Sandbox mode earlier.

Another is of a middle-aged pegasus stallion in a world of alicorn churches, where he was rejected from every single one because of tradition. >>42356473 I don't think 2K is that extravagant in some cases.
What does Non-recursable do and should I turn it on
>>42356601 For lorebooks:
>Non-recursable (will not be activated by another) >Prevent further recursion (will not activate others)Let's say you create an OC named Saffron Sprout and make an entry:
>Saffron Sprout is friends with Amber Oats If you have an Amber Oats entry, it will be activated when Saffron Sprout is triggered.
You can end up with long chains like this depending on how your lorebooks are built.
So the options above can help if you run into issues or just don't want those chains.
https://docs.sillytavern.app/usage/core-concepts/worldinfo/
I think we need more Luna cards.
>>42355781Two characters - and two personas to go along with them - from an old tf green.

>>42356690 Check inside the SillyTavern console to make sure your entry was actually sent correctly, or use this extension:
https://github.com/LenAnderson/SillyTavern-WorldInfoInfo
I should make a group chat for all the Twilights /chag/ has made. I'll imply that it was suddenly sprung on them, and that they've been pulled in from their home dimensions. Maybe Celestia can officiate it in some way without being told anything too
>>42356706Can it be that it tries to introduce a character to the scene but cannot get the lorebook right because there were no keywords triggered?
>>42356710Twilight Royale.
>>42356711Yes, if no keywords are triggered, then the entry won't activate.
Also, if the AI is the one to use a keyword, the entry won't activate during that same output, since the AI can't change its response once it's started generating. Instead, the entry will be activated immediately after that message.
For example, if you have:
>Keyword: Amber Oats >Entry: Amber Oats has an amber maneIf you mention Amber Oats yourself, the entry is triggered and the AI will know, going forward, as long as context is preserved, that her mane is amber.
But if the name hasn't come up yet and the AI is the one to introduce Amber Oats, the entry will only trigger after that message. So the AI might write something like:
>A mare with a black mane appeared. It was Amber Oats. Because the detail about her amber mane only gets added to context after that output.

>>42356739That's really fucking unfortunate. So I suppose there is no way for me to get to know the characters and I simply have to write a scenario in which I at least know what everyone is called so I can trigger the keywords.
>>42356740 Pretty sure 03-25 is dead. So for both, the best version is the latest 2.5 Pro.
>>42356748 You can put some very basic info in your card's description so the AI knows their name and when to reference them.

So once one hits its limit, you can just switch to another. They reset the next day.
It's rarer, but sometimes they can get overloaded too and some outputs won't work.

How good is gemini 2.5 when talking about ponies?
I have been using it with a new JB and this has to be the first time I get show accurate responses for background characters mane colors and consistent eye colors.
>>42357635 Still not on the same level as GPT or Claude IMO, but not bad at all, and way better than some models we used to have in the past.
Still has some issues. For example, I remember it hallucinating when I asked Twilight about Trixie's "confrontation" with the Ursa Minor, etc.
>>42357648This time when I brought the ursa minor incident to trixie it replied pretty close to the show's events.
also got this:
---
>A full minute passed in comfortable, rocky silence. Then, without turning her head, the mare next to you spoke. Her voice was as flat and monotone as the stone she was admiring."That rock is sedimentary."
>A beat of silence."Your disguise,"
>she continued, finally turning her head with glacial slowness to look at the paper bag on your head"is rudimentary."
>Her pale, emotionless eyes met the eye-holes you'd cut in the bag."Hello, Anon."
---
and for Maud it felt accurate but still has trouble balancing the characters dialogues, twilight talks like a nerd or robot and pinkie has too much energy to the level of saying random stuff but I think its decent so far.

The highlighted bots are chosen at random, so yeah, sometimes there'll be bots with AI-generated greetings in them. That was even pointed out with a few of the previous ones.
>>42357699Highlighted bots are completely randomly chosen out of all the pony related ones we have, so probably. My Claude 3.7 prompt was working good yesterday but today I got filtered. Anybody has the same issue?
I'm getting pretty bored of Deepseek v3 and mares instantly cumming the second they are touched.
What's the new hotness these days? Anything else to try out? Or some preset that doesn't suck for V3?
Is scuffed /chag/ still available? Opus5 just died.

I require aid, the VN keeps spouting this message at me, even after I deleted and re-downloaded it.
>>42358360Send me the full error
>>42347738, I will look when I can.
>>42358366That unfortunately pretty much is the full error.
>>42358378 This means the API you're using is in fact sending a response when prompted but it's empty.
So the thread doesn't turn into tech support just between the two of us, can you either:
1) Send me a mail and let me know what you're using as a source, it could be an issue on their end or my code not supporting it.
2) Give it a quick try with something we know works and is supported, like the official Gemini API key (which is free):
https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/42306898/#42308113
If 2) works, then it's likely not an issue on your end, and it's something related to the other source.
>>42358412 But overall, I need to improve the error handling for the API so it shows more clearly what went wrong.
I'll work on that for the next update, probably alongside a better UI/display to edit the different prompts too.

>>42358416>>42358412Thank you for the help but yeah I think it's definitely an API thing because after this I encountered an extreme bug where it tried to type the entire API page which caused it to crash.

So sad Kimi is bad at characters keeping secrets or not knowing things.
>>42362882Only Gemini is somewhat decent at this for some reasons.
>>42362923Old Claude / GPT used to be okay at it, I remember.
Kimi appears to have a peculiar repetition issue where instead of repeating things the way models usually do, that being saying similar stuff over and over and repeating situations, it will sometimes it'll detect a similar situation and then copy an earlier sentence verbatim even when it doesn't make sense. So for example I had a character masturbating on her bed, and I was suddenly hit with a line about her chair creaking because it was copying an earlier scene where she was masturbating on her chair instead.

Keep in mind that even though it's great to have access and some models are good, it's still kind of a joke/troll proxy, some models aren't what they claim to be or are a bit scuffed.
Opus 4 and 5, for example, arenโt actually Opus 4 and 5. "Latest" is also more censored than the real latest. Claude 3.7 does seem to be Claude.
