Probably true. I just like to provide something people can enjoy, maybe something wholesome that still reflects the world I'd like to live in? I'm not entirely deferring to the audience; I don't like anthro, and I don't want to make porn, for instance.

No, but it's interesting to see what people like and don't like. For instance, people don't seem to like the Pony V6-style stuff all that much, when I thought it was pleasing enough to look at. You also can see how people's views differ from your own. For example, most AI artists or even normal artists don't seem to get as autistic about the cutie marks as I do and tend to just go for approximate representations rather than exact replicas of the show versions.

I just generate an image at 768x768 resolution and upscale it in img2img to 1536x1536 while keeping denoising strength at between 0.5 and 0.6. Even without that, though, my images don't seem to have messed up eyes. My negative prompt is "(worst quality, low quality, lowres, worst aesthetics, jpeg-artifacts:1.0), signature, username, logo, (normal quality:1.0), unfinished, abstract, ai-generated, source filmmaker \(artwork\), animated, 3d animation, 2d animation, text" if that helps.

A pretty simple one, just basic "front view, feral, pony, MLP," etc. stuff, but I also throw in some hand-drawn art tags because I like the style it produces. I would still recommend trying the 768x768 to 1536x1536 approach followed by upscaling to 4k if you really want higher-res stuff; the quality improvement over an image generated just at 1536x1536 can be significant and you are able to see a lot more images far more quickly and pick the best one. I should ask, do you have some memory setting or something that could be doing it? One anon did a low-VRAM thing to get it running on his 4 GB card, and it kind of produced artifacts like that. Oh, also you don't need more than 20 steps since the noobAI creator basically says it does nothing past 20.

You can do the magic glow thing in PonyV6 if I recall, but Zoinksnoob uses e621 tags, so I don't think it can really do it that well, and I didn't want to spend an eternity editing that detail in, so I just settled for the sticky hooves like ponies in the show sometimes have. It was an interesting experiment, though.

I also tried using tags like "role reversal" or "dominant" but it didn't make any difference.

I was using YiffyMix (because PDXL always fucked up cunnilingus pictures). Model doesn't seem to have very good knowledge of G5 ponies, though. Especially Zipp often ends up with incorrect features.

However, once you realize most MLP fan art pretty much uses the same 5 shot angles and small set of poses, it's pretty easy to visualize what will be created and get close to the exact thing you want, especially with a good model like Zoinksnoob. You can also eventually train a LoRA on your own art style. Hello again AI Chad's, it's been a while. I decided I need to contribute too. I had so much fun experimenting with different steps, CFG and samplers and now I know for sure how much they affect the end result. But the most important, I learned how BREAK works and now I use it almost all the time. Goodness how much buzz I burned to learn this. It's so sensitive but from the other side prompts that had tons of errors started to work flawlessly with BREAK. Something doesn't appear? BREAK. Pose doesn't work? BREAK. Loras clashing too much? BREAK. At least it works with CivitAI online generator. But prompt scheduling and AND doesn't. Such a shame. I tried and tried but with no results. Okay AND works sometimes but in the entirely unpredictable way so there's no reason to touch it, at least for me. Oh and some anime checkpoints actually works okay with ponies, which was pretty unexpected.

Either to make an emphasis on some stuff (like when pose lora doesn't work it usually works when separated with BREAK. Or when clothes Lora doesn't fit, like it looks oversized, separating it with BREAK helps sometimes) or to prevent excessive interference from loras to certain things/parts of the prompt. Hello once again. I wanted to post something earlier but suddenly found out that my favorite Sugar Moonlight Lora for PDXL was removed from CivitAI so that demotivated me quite a lot. And I don't like her other Lora, it's not bad but I couldn't make it work properly and the style is quite specific. But there was one for Illustrious so I decided it's finally time to try it and Illustrious in general. Goodness it's strict, it's good (with Checkpoints, I couldn't get any good results from the basic Illustrious) but strict. And it's less creative with prompts (unlike PDXL) or it's just me. Anyway I have couple questions. What's the best quality tags for Illustrious? And is there any way to make poses for ponies work properly? Most of the times when I try anything even slightly more complicated than basic poses, hooves turns into hands. I tried both G4 and G5 characters with pretty much the same results. Idk what to do with that, maybe I should find the right checkpoint or maybe try different tags. I'm not going to abandon PDXL by any means but Illustrious is quite fun, except this hands issue.

I had that issue with some Loras for PonyV6. I'm not sure if there's a solution other than putting hands, feet, human, anthro, etc, in the negative prompt, adding horse tags to emphasize the anatomy more, and choosing poses that are natural for ponies.

Thanks for the advices, Anon, I appreciate this. And I have no slightest idea why it was deleted. Yes it wasn't perfect, but nothing critical or unfixable (except cityscape backgrounds, they were quite a mess) It had nice show-like style. Eh.

Anyway. I tried and tried, again and again and I figured out some stuff. First thing first - hands, hand, feet, human, anthro in the negative helped a lot. Moreover, I needed to add furry, paws, claws aswell otherwise poor Sugar kept getting mutations. And of course "no humans", for some reason it reduced amount of "hands" significantly. Horse anatomy was a very helpful advice too. After burning down even more buzz, I realized that adding "horse legs" after the pose makes Sugar to pose with hooves (sometimes bipedal, like the pic here but it's okay)! Like "waving, horse legs". But. Tag "bad anatomy" must stay in the negative under any circumstances. Just don't touch it. Otherwise hooves turns into creepy random mess pretty much all the time.

Also. I found out that when using sitting or lying poses, instead of "hand on cheek" tag or any "hand" tag in general it's better to use "leg" instead. Like "leg on cheek". Because ponies have legs instead of hands, so I decided to try it and it worked. So now instead of hand, Sugar puts hoof on her face, here's another example. It's not perfect still but it's a progress regardless. Thank you once again for all your help, Anons, it's simply priceless.

It's me once again. So adding "hooves" in the positives helped a lot with more complicated poses that refused to "ponify" before. Here's an example of Sugar holding a tray with her hoof instead of hand. I needed to play with CFG for some time too, and for the most consistent results I lowered it to 5. The higher numbers usually provided quite interesting anatomical anomalies. Moreover, for some reason Euler/Euler a gave me way worse results than DPM ++ 2M Karras this time huh. So to get more complicated ponified pose in Illustrious (most of the times at least) I use whole bunch of negatives I mentioned before and in the positives it looks like this (at least for this pic): "character tags, holding tray, horse legs, hooves, all other tags". The same goes for the "legs" poses I mentioned in my previous post. Like "leg on cheek, horse legs". "hooves" tag is optional, it usually works fine without it but I suspect in certain cases it will be needed aswell. Anyway, thanks again for all the help, Anons, I appreciate it.

Checked. Maybe it's different for Illustrious, but, as far as I know, the order/arrangement of tags is not important, only what tags were used in the first place. I would say it's good practice to keep tags you change less at the beginning and ones you change more often at the end of the prompt, as this makes it easier to edit quickly.

Thank you so much Anons. So either way it's better to put them at the begging (maybe separate them with BREAK) after all. Oh and this prompt structure is different than I used to but I'll try it too. Hm. Oh and Sugar still tries to resist certain poses from time to time (especially with BREAK prompts, even if I never separate her and her actions/poses), I need to add more "human" tags in the negative probably. At least Illustrious responds quite well to my prompts. But it's less creative than PDXL after all. There's one abstract Lora I really like and in the PDXL it's enough to put "abstract, abstract background, particles" in the positives to get the most basic but good results.It works entirely different in Illustrious - I need to exactly specify what I want to appear in my gen, just abstract tags isn't enough. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Again. Anyway, it will take some time to get used to this.
