You go to the barrel and press SPACE ONCE to put the coal in then press SPACE ONCE to light up the coal on fire then you start picking up branches and press SPACE ONCE to put the branches in the barrel to keep the fire lit. Try not to spam Space, there seems to be a bug where you destroy the fire faster.
