So the creator of the show annoucnes she quits after just 1 season and after just 5 months when Lesson Zero airs everyone says "Yep, everything is fine."

Watching the series for the first time right now, I wonder what everybody thought back then. I think I'm pretty easy to please, I enjoyed season 5 plenty.

Technically 6 months. Lesson Zero aired in October together with Luna Eclipsed.
It was Return of Harmony that aired in September and then took a 3 week hiatus, roflmao.
Sisterhooves Social aired in November together with the Smile Smile Smile leaked song.
It took Hasbro 2 entire months to air 5 lousy episodes, technically 4 episodes because one is a 2-parter.
Season 2 had a really shitty airing schedule.

Also Lesson Zero aired at a time when Apple.mov also aired just a few days BEFORE Lesson Zero

Back then you also didn't have a platform to voice your unified opinion on besides EQDaily & Ponychan which were crawling with Hasdrones and weren't even that popular.
Most of the unique comments came from Youtube's comments section and everyone was obviously a coward or an underage.
There like 1-2 anons on Ponychan (which still barely had 30 tripfags in total when discussing the show) comparing how Party of One is better than Lesson Zero which ironically being written by the same person and they couldn't wrap their head around the concept of 12 different people editing your script or telling you to edit your own script with their shit changes.

Shining Armor was Faust's idea and I still don't see the issue with him that is not people assuming non-sense about Twilight's life. She only quitted because of Cadence getting changed into an alicorn, as that was a decision Hasbro made after the episode was written without telling her.
