Originating from a thread about a niche form of hypnosis, now encompasses varied hypnosis methods from spiraling specs to subtle spells, swinging watches to wafting brews. Post anything and everything about controlling a mind. All ponies (mares and stallions, fillies and colts) are welcome and encouraged. Greens and other content only tangentially related will be better recieved in SPG or SiM depending. Good rule of thumb is if it doesn’t involve taking control of a pony’s mind, it probably goes somewhere else. (e.g. no slavery without mind control scenes, IRL self-hypnosis audio, or tupperware rp)

You sat on the couch, your Purple hunches sinking into the cushion. Deep breath in and out in and out. Focus on the crystal as it swings back and forth back and forth, each swing making me more relaxed, more open. Your eyes glazed over with each swing of the crystal held in the human's hands. "Just watch the crystal; with each swing of my crystal, you will feel yourself becoming more tired, more open; with each swing, you will repeat my words." You listen to your friend's words, letting them guide you. You needed his help. Your anxiety and new duties as a princess had pushed you past the breaking point; you no longer had Celestia to rely on, and you made a massive mistake, a true twilight freakout, but your friends helped calm you down and wanted to help you get better. So when Anon hypnotizing you was brought up, Anon was exhilarated that he had the chance to help you and finally hypnotize some pony he had been practicing for so long. So, you focused on the crystal, listening to him, letting his words sink in. "With each swing of his crystal, I feel myself becoming more tired, more open; with each swing, I will repeat these words." You resist the urge to yawn. Your mouth is too preoccupied with something you didn't know.... Something you didn't need to know, something you didn't need to think about, just something you needed to watch the crystal for. That little bit of skepticism was long forgotten. All that mattered was the swinging of the crystal; your eyes fluttered, desperate to stay open to keep watching the crystal closing and opening again, trying to stay focused. Falling deeper and deeper until he opened his mouth and said. "Sleep for me, Twilight, fall into trance." Your mind obeyed his submitting to his greater authority, letting the consoling solace of the oblivion of thoughtlessness overtake you. Your body is going limp, accepting his guidance.

I remember doing hypnosis to transform into a pony, and it worked a little bit, I could feel new sensations in my new "hooves" and I went running suddenly I felt like Rainbow Dash and it was like she had become a part of my personality in that moment. It was really special, and I tried it again a few months ago, to somewhat of the same degree of effect, but nothing spontaneous. It really requires deep relaxation and focus for it to take effect.

If I were to hypnosis somepony's mind, it would be Fluttershy, because I feel like she could release her inhibitions a little bit and let go.
