I felt this way with the first Apple Bottom episode.
Clean Sweep is somewhat similar to how I felt, maybe he'll grow on me, but having a VA instead of TTS makes me mad because it feels like an unironic self-insert that isn't self-aware.
The Apple Bottom intro episode felt really forced edgy and gay, but he grew on me, I don't think Clean Sweep ever could, I really hope he perma-dies in this episode or very early on. I hate VAs, it completely goes against the joke and only ever worked when Tamers himself VAd
