Fluttershy looks better with white wings. They fit her pure, angelic vibes. (And I feel like half the fandom doesn't even know Fluttershy as a character is designed to be vaguely angel-like on purpose...)

Having the feather color be different from the base of the wing is genuinely one of the worst design changes G5 made. It looks fucking horrid. Every single pegasus looks like shit.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Her entire backstory is that she fell from heaven to grace the earthly creatures below. She is distinctly not like other hot-blooded Pegasi, she is loving and altruistic. Fluttershy is basically Jesus. Her rabbit being named Angel is on purpose as a nod to Fluttershy being vaguely inspired by angels (although the rabbit's name is ironic obviously)
