I'm afraid of people finding out that I like MLP, even though I'm a normie and don't watch clop. I don't think about it all day but still try to hide it whenever I watch anything pony. If my employer finds out I like MLP I might get fired because having any brony in a company is damaging to the company's reputation. If my family finds out that I like MLP they will say like "don't worry, we still like for who you are" but deep down they will get depressed and acknowledge that they raised a retard... I know that there's nothing wrong in liking MLP, but because of the stigma on the whole group I don't want to hurt my dear parents, friends and co-workers, I don't want to be seen as a "horsefucker".

Am I the only such coward here? Closet bronies, how do you cope with this? How to ensure nobody will ever find out about you liking MLP?

Fit ponies into your schedule. Plan your time. Find your hiding spot. If you know that time to "rest" will be surprised with a "hey I need your help" barge-into-your-room visit, then don't pony.

You know your family well, you know your coworkers well, you know yourself well. It's better to keep up what you're doing if your current system already works.

My profile pictures on work accounts are ponies. One person figured out that an encoded message left by me in a peculiar place was a pony's name. I repeatedly leave pony references in plain sight in non-crucial places, where the context fits, of course. Most people don't care, some have a laugh, some probably cringe silently. It's not harmful.
I believe it's all about being good enough at your job, that people won't try to use your autistic quirks as reason to dislike you. Think about that, anon.
As for family and friends - they know. Mom asked me who's the cute pony on my phone's lockscreen. Friends don't mind. As I replied to someone else with similar concern a while ago - you can be cool about ponies, anon. They're unusual, but they don't have to be something you need to hide.
