>>42385946 (OP)Honestly, ask that question about FiM's popularity with children again in two years. Congratulations on starting a family, Nonny. I really hope you will be a happy family that can communicate healthily in an age of dysfunctional families left and right.
As for showing her them little ponies: There are guidelines for how much screen time children should have, and kids aged 2-5 should only have an hour a day, preferably watching media together with you. Even if it's not as popular, you have seen the show yourself and know it might be flawed, but it isn't literal brainrot like e.g. nuSpongeBob. If there's an episode (or season; or content in general) you don't want your sweet little princess to watch, you can simply skip it. (As for vidya, my personal impression is to start kids on a retro console.)
Encourage her to play with physical toys, play with her. Read books together. Draw ponies together. Enjoy the time you get to spend together this way, being her hero, her rolemodel. Children need to feel safe and loved.
Ponies are super cute, so chances are, she will like ponies regardless of how popular they will be with her peers. But the first year will only be about feeding, cleaning and snuggling her, kek.
