You can clearly see here that she has a regular sized pony cutie mark on her huge distended disgusting body. The marks don’t stretch or grow. The body does. Which makes sense, because when you get fat, more skin is created.

Are you sure? Even with colossal cutie marks like Twilight's where it takes up the whole asscheek they're still smaller than the head. Regular cutie marks are around half the size of this, depending on design.
Nelly's is the largest cutie mark I've seen, it's larger than Luna's. Was she destined to be such a morbidly obese specimen the cutiemarkinator had to give her the largest cutie mark they could find?
