/g4r/ Letβs make an episode of MLP! #2 Vogelfag edition.
>So what do we have to do?
Either grab an already written fanfiction or write a new fanfic.
The "script" must follow certain guidelines and here we analyze Renzetti & Faust's styles along with Moomin Valley, Hilda and similar shows.
S1's pro is that all 6 main characters actually feel like mains in every episode. There's other shows like Xiaolin Showdown and Storm Hawks where certain episodes dedicate entire scenes to each character showing off but they're rare just like even in S1 MLP case it's rare;
Mare In The Moon, Elements Of Harmony, Ticket Master, Bridle Gossip, Suited For Success, Best Night Ever. Every character needs a gimmick, a section, a dedication to them. And that's the most quantifiable thing.
The next problem arises from having the talent for how to write self-aware characters that requires a certain level of intelligence, vocabulary and dialogue most autists here are incapable of.
MLP FIM is primarily a dialogue-driven show. This creates its boring but adult appeal cause adults care about dialogue and staring at faces all day rather than watching kung fu movies of people beating the crap out of each other. Most people said Swarm of the Century was boring despite it being 90% action.

Ironically Rob Renzetti has a much more innocent and feminine side than Faust who's very boyish with her style as proven by DC SHG.
There's another thing adults and kids alike care about; world design, lore, consistency, sense of grandness yet neatly structured world design that fits together in a clean way and builds upon itself rather than one-shot areas that get used, forgotten and thrown out immediately like Gryphonstone and the Kirin village. People care much more about Canterlot than Griffonstone.
This consistency akin to a train following its tracks is the neatness part that attracts autists including gacha/pokemon collectors. A hybrid of simplistic at first yet complex under the hood attracts a wide demographic.
(How do we decide?) you tried with flawed democracy now we try with monarchy. I decide what passes and what doesn't. My Discord is redmics if anyone wants to contact me. This tripcode won't last long.
Previous thread AKA the bumpfest.
