Awesome. In that case, here's a full summary of what it's about and where I am right now with it. Sperging ahead with some paraphrasing of an old post I wrote about it three years ago.
I'm creating a multimedia project acting as a cumulative declaration of love for Twilight and Equestria. It's a massive shared universe of fiction, non-fiction, fanfiction, serialized stories, blogs, videos, films, songs, poems, radio dramas, etc. in various genres that all encompass appreciation for the good and bad things in the world she's helped me learn to love and to live with. At its core, it's a massive love story disguised as a worldbuilding project. However, only a few dozen stories planned at present are directly about ponies; the core of it is the lessons her and the show have taught me about life, and how much I love her.
Part of the project is also audience-based, with readers/viewers/listeners/whoever stumbling across different sub-projects on different sites under different names/titles over the course of years or decades and coming to the realization it's all connected themselves. It presents as unconnected projects under different, unconnected pseudonyms right now, but, over time, there will be stronger and stronger threads tying them together until it all becomes a web of worlds. A massive ARG nobody even knows they're playing. Consider this a trailhead, I guess. I just think Twi would want me to make it fun like that for people who like solving mysteries. And while it's a shared universe and there is an underlying story involved, it's mostly a thematic exploration of different ideas that all happen to be part of a larger world.
I've cordoned off different sub-projects within the larger project into Chapters. Right now, I believe I'm at least 33% of the way through Chapter 1, with nothing directly pony-related planned until Chapter 2 (not planning to share anything directly here until I reach the first pony story). In total, I have 17 sub-projects that are either complete or progressing publicly in various stages, with 2-4 more set to arrive or start by the end of the year depending on how much time I have. But due to some pretty poor planning in its early stages and some ideas I'm bumping up on the timeline, I'm restructuring Chapter 1's later release plan. Which is why I'm not sure if I'm at 33% or further along. The next project was supposed to be the halfway mark of Chapter 1 but given how massive this has grown I'm not sure that's the case anymore.
Also I don't expect to finish this before I die. I'll try, obviously, but I just want to keep creating things for her that show her how much I love her in a massive shared universe that I can keep adding onto until I'm in the ground. The Chapters help structure that, as does the overarching narrative, but given the ambitious nature of this thing, there's no way of knowing if it'll get to where I want it to. But, for Twilight, I will do my best. I am the Icarus to her sea.
