I have already watched entirety of all 9 seasons of FiM, 2017 movie and 4 of EqG movies, and i want more. Should i watch New Generation? There seems to be a lot of positive reviews but i am not sure.
What will you say, ponybros?

Its a good movie just watch it.

I watched it fairly recently for the first time and I would describe it as very generic. There are a few cute character interactions but I didn't enjoy it as a whole. You might find it enjoyable so you may as well go for it if you're in this deep.

I didn't like the last two seasons (8 in particular). They have completely changed the direction of the show with all this school bullshit (Mane 6 have their own workplaces where they must spend most of their energy and time) and worse writing generally. There also all this anti-rasist internationalist propaganda, that they must let other races live in Equestria, even if equestrian monoethnicity is one of the main pledges of prosperity.

Movie's aight.

I like the show way better than the movie. It has Misty, it has a better story, it has less cringe, it doesn’t fail at being funny as much, and it’s just overall more thought out and better. The biggest weakness of the series is being connected to a pretty failed movie.

Imagine if Misty met G3 Minty, Cozy Glow, and, I dunno, some random G1 cunt.

I have watched the movie and i liked it. Not masterpiece by any means, but solid 6.5/10.
I liked nationalistic motives of the movie about uniting Equastria, which is quite based and aryan.
Female protagonists are all really good for sex. Izzy the best, then Sunny and Pipp. Not sure about Zipp.
Art style is quite cute, ponies are fuckable.
Story is mediocre, but there is some interesting worldbuilding elements, like the fact that ponies industrialize (up to serial manufacturing of semiconductors) in order to compensate for the lack of magic.

Movie is a bit cringe because the plot is just "hey guys...... racism... is bad?" ":O genius, let's just all be friends, why were we even racist in the first place?"
Ponies have social media now and can inexplicably use smartphones with hooves and have their own pony versions of YouTube and TikTok
Would not recommend the cartoon, it is worse than G4.5 and has fart humor. Unfortunately the cartoon is relevant to later 3D parts.
G4 gets retconned in G5/G5 uses an alternate universe of G4, because adult Spike is now a quadruped instead of a biped, plus other inconsistencies.
The rest of G5 was cancelled because Hasbro wanted to use AI to finish writing/making it and the creators said no and walked out, which was for the best.

It's extremely generic. You can watch a random Illumination or Sony Animation movie and experience the same exact sterile product.

I gave the movie a 6- at the time it came out. Now that I have become more accustomed to the characters I bump it up by one point. So 7-. It's very generic for a kid's movie, but for an MLP movie it's decent.

MYM, apart from the very boring first chapter, is okay-ish if you like the characters and just enjoy seeing them, but don't expect too much. I wouldn't recommend TYT at all. It has pretty much zero story and was only fun at the time to watch and discuss with other anons since it was just 5 minutes of your time each week. If you do decide to watch it, just watch it for some of its better elements, like Izzy's trash song or the Monster Partay song. At least that's for S1. S2, after Misty gets reformed, is unbearable.
