In a similar vein to our opening ceremonies animations, we decided to go all-out with this project because (You) deserve it. To clarify, this is not the opening ceremonies animation. We are still doing one again this year that will be shown at the actual convention. This animation is just a little something extra we wanted to put together.

The pacing sucks, the ponies and especially the Princesses are wildly out of character and act like blithering idiots, and towards the end the plot kind of goes off the rails completely with Twilight usurping power and Equestria going to shit and civil war or whatever for no reason.
If you can turn off your brain to look past all that then it can certainly be fun, but I think that's a disclaimer worth having rather than just blindly recommending it as "great". It's great if you like HFY at the ponies' expense and can turn off your brain whenever the plot is contrived.
