Linux is truly very bad. Maybe it was good in the past, it's less "power-user" friendly than windows last time I tried using it. It's basically in the same position as Windows, you need to completely change everything and jump through hoops just to make it work like a real operating system.
The difference is Windows has far more available things to work with. debloat.win re-edits the whole OS and then you can get classic taskbar and explorer stuff downloaded and you can have it looking similar to windows XP. It would be nice if they just made another good operating system again, but looks like that's not the strategy anymore.

What the fuck is Debian? What does it have to do with pony?

OP is obsessed with Linux, and since the new release is called Trixie he was finally able to express his Linux love to his best and only friends on /mlp/. Even though his last thread was deleted because scruffy didn't feel like clicking the link.

Debian is a Linux distro made by a cuck and his wife (in name only). It has nothing to do with ponies except that their latest release is codenamed Trixie, most likely because they love to suck off tranny cock.

As a long time linux user (who also daily drives windows), can you tell me what drugs you currently on? I would like some.
>Maybe it was good in the past
No. Just no. 5 years ago I could not install it and expect most things to work. Now I can install it and most things work (still not all, and even 5 year old hardware is not fully supported).
>work like a real operating system
Wtf are you on? I get it windows needs tweaking in this regard, but none of the linux distros need to be debloated. Even the bloated ones like ubuntu has a minimal install mode.

Yes my sister, it is certainly true what that thing you just said.

What does it do?

Linux doesn't need to be debloated, yes, but they still have so many things you need to change to get them to work. The list of things needed I can't remember so there's nothing more I can say, the last time I tried Linux was last year and I remember so many customisation options just not being available without installing this and this and so on and then it probably doesn't work anyway. And I do specially remember looking up certain problems I was having only to find out it was a new problem because Linux had changed.

But the point is you can get Windows and Linux to both work the way you want anyway. And as far as I'm concerned (especially with talon debloating windows for you) they take the same effort. So they're basically equal, aside from the fact Linux doesn't have photoshop which is a big problem. I don't want to use Windows, it's a terrible operating system, I fail to see any advantage with Linux.

Almost all settings can be changed by editing some configuration files. You're not going to tell me you need a shiny GUI for that, do you?

Also
>Photoshop
Runs on Wine. Or you could make a Windows VM on Linux and run it on that. Then it'll always work.

If I install Linux again I'll let you know exactly every issue I have. And then you can fix it with your 200 IQ. Windows I know how to fix already so that's easier.
But Windows is at a tipping point, it can't get any worse than it is at this now. So it will get better.
