At worst it would be an exact repeat of ABU with Trixie unwittingly annoying Flutters and her exploding on Trixie since Fluttershy releasing pent up tension is like 80% of her episodes. I've never really like Trixie from her initial appearances, but she's growing on me. I've found that fan appreciation adds a lot to her characters. She has some incredible songs. She's also very iconic. She sets up a show and she gives it her all, even if the audience isn't into it. I admire that, stage performance is an underrated skill that anybody can improve themselves with. If she smoothens the edges of her ego a little she would be an splendid example to the youth, too.

The fans made her a better character than what she actually is canonically. I thought she was a character that you weren't mean to take at face value, and that her whole shtick was a facade, until I realized that no, she isn't some misunderstood and insecure girl that doesn't believe what she says, she really is JUST an asshole, and that killed any enjoyment and sympathy I had for her. Think about it, that type of character would've been PERFECT for a show like FIM. Wasted potential of a character that could've been interesting and likable, instead we got Rainbow Dash 2. Her cute design is all she's got going for her.

She can be great with Glimmy too, though the writers made their episodes more often awful than not. An episode with the CMC (or with the other foals, like before the classroom) would have been great.
