For Weapon i'd say unicorn magic since you don't need bullets for that. Companion? Anypony who can use magic good enough to fire deadly magic beams to destroy zombies. Location? Somewhere rural like Appleloosa.

Applejack since she's pretty set and is tactical
Apple Bloom so Applejack doesn't kill herself
Big Mac so Applejack doesn't kill herself and he's a big guy
Farm seems like as good of an area as any and they'd obviously be set on weapons but also traps and stuff
Plus Earth ponies can dig really well so tunnels would be against flying zombies
Barring that plan, probably Rarity. She's consistently the one throwing hooves and she has a ton of sharps. Probably would do surprisingly well. Fluttershy is rlly good too if regular critters aren't zombified because early defense systems and you could fuck off into the woods
