Flash appeared at the end of S3 for the movie, and his first appearance was in a cash grab attempt to compete with Monster High by turning the ponies into teens. He was also a love interest for Twilight. That's the perfect storm of bullshit that made the shipfags, faustfags, and twifags have a Captain Planet moment and BY THEIR POWERS COMBINED took a collective steaming dump all over EQG and everything that came after it.
A short while later, they would do the same with Timber "Big Dick" Spruce. Not only was Timber 18 while Sci-Twi was 16 (LITERAL RAPE), he cucked Flash and, once again, the bronies can't handle the mares/girls having romantic partners because it's basically the same as their waifu cheating on them.
Flash and Timber literally did nothing wrong and had the potential to be great characters, but had to be shoved to the sides because of third-world autism (like when the Chinese threatened to kill a gacha game staff for letting gacha girls hook up with gacha guys in the same game).
