I work for a shirt printing company that is basically the middle man between shirt design sites and the customer's hands. I caught a glimpse of my co-worker printing out an anon filly and putting it on the rack to get toasted. We aren't allowed to take pictures on the floor, so here's a shitty recreation of what I remember seeing.
Wasn't expecting to get flashbanged by a pony this early on in the job, let alone an anon filly.

That's pretty cool and I like your drawing. I'm a zoomer who lives in a pretty rural area, so the only time I've ever seen another brony was when I went to a toys r us and one of the workers was covered in a bunch of different pins with some of them being pony related. This was before I got into the show so I remember thinking he was pretty cringe looking. I'm think he had dyed hair too, so I'd probably still think he's cringe if I saw him today.

I'm not in a very populated area, but this was downtown a few months ago.
I've met a few pony fans outside of conventions as well. I bought a plush off of one person on Facebook Marketplace and we met at a mall - specifically a little sock store. The lady behind the counter was really excited to see somebody wearing a pony shirt and then getting a plushie - we ended up talking for a little while about ponies which was neat.

Only irl pony encounter was a friend in college who started watching the show and changed his profile pic to a pony oc with a dog snout. He seemed embarassed to talk about pony in front of others so I dropped it
Sadly it seems for him pony was just a gateway to furry since he changed his pic to some kind of sparkly dog a few weeks later and denied ever watching the show
