If you know the Candy Mane short story, things like that are good, they're essentially ideas. And that's pretty cool, ideas, but usually it's not worth writing out. Get everything you need from that.

If you're writing something about a pegasus with strong magic, the point is either to make them an extremely good flyer, have them be capable of creating entire thunderstorms completely by themselves, or even something a little bit more wild like casting magic from their wings like a unicorn does from their horn.
