Episode opens with Twilight getting a letter from Celestia that her (Celestia's) niece/grandniece is returning from studying abroad/traveling with her parents and wants Twilight to meet and greet her as a fellow princess. Main conflict comes from Skyla acting more like a strict and rigid noble than anyone else due to her upbringing and having to learn to chill out. Also sprinkle some jokes about her using vernacular and slang that are outdated since she's only really learned it from other royalty

So what do I do?
Sweetie Belle fell in a pool of magic and became Skyla, the firstborn alicorn filly! then Shining & Cadence *bad writing & stupid characters* wished upon a star to have a baby and Sweetie Belle pretends to be their baby and the morons just roll with it.

Then at the end she reveals herself. Shining & Cadence say they always knew only for Sweetie Belle to slap them and say "No you didn't -_-" "You're right, we didn't :( we just wanted to appear smarter than we are".

Oh and throughout the whole episode Twilight Sparkle doesn't have wings. Sweetie Belle ate them.
