As a human, I’d probably try to find a position in the job I worked in before going to Equestria. My pony OC may want to live in the castle with Twilight and/or Starlight, but still want some degree of fulfillment.

What kind of job? I know a lot of people pine for Equestria partly because they could live out their rural homestead fantasy and so want to be farmers or blacksmiths or whatever. To be honest the castle doesn't look like a very comfy place to live. Sure, there's a lot of living space but it's mostly empty that would mostly just amount to chores and trips taking longer. I would prefer to live in one of the houses that make up Ponyville proper.

Actually, now that I think about it the chores wouldn't be a problem since you have a little dragon slave doing them for you. That being said I can't help but feel like living in the castle would be like being a participant in one of those reality tv shows where they trap a bunch of people in one house. Unless you're really invested in Friendship™ that has the potential to be really annoying.

I’d be thinking about a job in computer science, though I have a feeling that Ponyville isn’t exactly Equestria’s Silicon Valley. It could be a place to look for jobs in, but I guess I could find another place if need be.
